About The Role

As a Procurement Executive / Senior Executive in ALPS, you will be based in one of the 27 public healthcare institutions (PHI) in Singapore, you will be responsible for the Procurement and Contract Management services within the PHI. Main responsibilities:

Support the fleet order cycle to enhance business performance and ensure sustainability while ensuring vessels get what they need, when they need it, where they need it, to operate safely, cost effectively, while optimizing commercial performance. He/She shall further:

· Evaluate bids to ensure there are competing quotations for comparison.

· Coordinate with appointed freight forwarder and monitor stock list at regular intervals.

· Month end requisition status/plan — a report to be sent to the assigned vessels to update supply requirements and to determine which items must be purchased at the next port of call.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position within a shipping company, preferably in the dry bulk sector.
