• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

About The Team

The batch processing team is responsible for the company's offline data processing and distributed training, supporting various business scenarios such as offline ETL and machine learning within the company. The components involved include the offline computing engine Spark, the in-house distributed training framework Primus, feature storage solutions like Iceberg and Hudi, as well as Ray, a next-generation distributed application framework. Faced with massive-scale scenarios, extensive functional and performance optimizations have been carried out in Spark, Primus, Feature Store, and support for the adoption of the new-generation distributed application framework Ray in relevant company scenarios.

What you will be doing:

- Responsible for the development and performance optimisation of the in-house Feature Store functionality based on Iceberg;

- Participant in optimisation of the integration of Iceberg with various upper-level computing engines;

- Involve in platform-related infrastructure development.

Qualifications

What you should have:

1. Bachelor's Degree or above, majoring in Computer Science, or related fields, with 4+ years of relevant development experience in the field with a strong programming ability, and proficiency in Java, Python, C++, with the ability to develop and optimize large-scale distributed systems;

2. In-depth research and relevant experience in one or more data lake formats such as Delta, Hudi, or Iceberg;

3. In-depth research or practical experience in open-source big data computing frameworks and scenarios like Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Presto, and more.

Job Description & Requirements

• Oversee the daily store operations and its manpower planning

• Hire, train, motivate and manage the team to achieve the best results

• Responsible for admin duties in the outlet including but not limited to inventory management, sales forecast, invoices consolidation, generate reports such as sales report or costing report and attend management meetings

• Conduct monthly inventory checks in operating equipment and supplies

• Work closely with relevant personnel at all levels by maintaining an effective communication, to ensure smooth execution of various activities/promotions

• Ensure smooth operations of the store with compliance to product quality, hygiene & safety standards

• Appraise employees for their performance regularly and provide feedback to improve performance

• Involve in investigation of issues relating to customer feedbacks on service and product quality

• To maintain a sound knowledge of the menu and presentation standards for food and drinks

• Ensure that the handover, closing and opening procedures are complete in each shift

• Perform other duties/tasks as required

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of experience at supervisory role in managing a Cafe/Restaurant/Fast food sector or other sectors

- Good people management skills, strong communication skills and hands-on duties

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure

- Pleasant, mature, outgoing, meticulous with good interpersonal skills
