What will you be doing?

As a Senior Service Engineer, you provide Level 1 and Level 2 Support to existing clients, serve as a primary contact to identify, troubleshoot and to provide resolutions to the reported issues. Responsibilities of Process Engineer

This role involves ensuring that all engineering activities are conducted in accordance with project specifications, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Project Engineer will work closely with the engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure the successful execution of the offshore substation project.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Engineering and Technical Support:

• Coordinate and oversee the detailed design activities for the offshore substation, ensuring compliance with Employer Requirement, industry standards (e.g., IEC, DNV, ISO), and safety regulations.
• Support performing engineering calculations, simulations, and assessments to verify the integrity of designs and ensure that all technical requirements (e.g., electrical, mechanical, structural) are met.
• Provide technical support to the project team during design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Address any technical queries and assist with resolving complex engineering challenges.

Procurement, Supplier & Subcontractor Management:

Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Compliance:

• Ensure that all engineering and construction activities adhere to the project's health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and regulations. Support in conducting safety audits and risk assessments where applicable.
• Identify potential risks associated with engineering tasks, including offshore conditions, and work with the project team to develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

Commissioning & Handover:

• Provide technical support during the post-commissioning phase to address any issues that arise and ensure the substation operates efficiently.
• Collaborate with the commissioning team to ensure the offshore substation is tested and commissioned successfully. Provide technical support during system tests, including electrical, mechanical, and communication systems.
• Ensure all technical documentation, including design calculations, test reports, commissioning results, and as-built drawings, is accurately recorded and handed over to the Employer.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare and deliver regular technical reports to the Project Manager and senior management, outlining the status of engineering tasks, challenges, and any risks, being incorporated in Project Report.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including design changes, specifications, test results, and approvals. Ensure all documents are in compliance with project management processes and procedures.

Coordination & Communication:

• Work closely with other disciplines (electrical, mechanical, structural, etc.) to ensure that the design, construction, and commissioning of the projects are well integrated.
• Maintain clear communication with Employer, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Liaise with project team in providing technical explanations and in resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in project engineering, with at least 3 years in offshore energy projects (e.g., offshore substations, offshore wind, or oil & gas industry).
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering aspects of offshore substations is highly desirable.
• Experience in project coordination and the ability to manage technical tasks within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of offshore substation systems, including electrical distribution, power transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and control systems.

Position Summary

The CIM Engineer is responsible for the implementation, maintenance & development of semiconductor automation facilities.

Candidates with Semiconductor, LCD industrial automation industries or smart factory / CIM experience are encouraged to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of Quality Management system (QMS), Facility Automation (MC) system and Logistics automation (MCS) system.
• Responsible for new automation requirement, system survey, any modifications or improvement works.
• Identify equipment failures, root cause analysis, and recommend solution for technical issues.
• Provide cross-functional cooperation and vendor interaction to troubleshoot, analyze and develop solutions for problems involving integrated systems.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or similar.
• More than 5 years of experience in related field including 3 years of development experience.
• Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the following:

1. Programming languages (C, C#, .Net, etc.) and DBMS (Oracle, MS-SQL, etc.)
2. SECS-I, SECS-II, HSMS/GEM, OPC, TCP/IP
3. Facility and supersystem (MES, EMS, etc.) interface
4. Logistics AGV, ACS for OHT control, OCS
5. Smart factory/CIM implementation experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Quality related implementation and operation (SPC, TAMS, YMS, DMS, RMS, etc.)
• Facility interface experience through facility automation solution
• MCS solution R&D experience

• Undertake detailed design in Building Structures
• Execution of projects and liaison with the Client, Client’s Consultants, Contractors, and authorities to provide technical support for design

Requirements

• Understand FMEA and be able to generate FMEA analysis for new tool. Able to utilize it to identify tool weaknesses and derive the top 3 to 5 risk factors.
• Able to create PROMIS (SiView) DC OP and SPC charts.
• Coordinate new equipment start-up to support production, from facilities hookup, vendor startup, to acceptance of equipment for production.
• Wafer scrap reduction awareness and mindset.
• Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, and ECN documentation for closure of issues / events. Provide guidance to Junior Engineers.
• Self audit and update specifications to meet TS16949 Quality Standard requirements.
• Se expectation and carry out performance appraisal for Technician or AE as instructed by Section Manager.
