• Perform on-site support, service, and installation of the equipment. Debug and test until final acceptance by customers. Willing to spend extended periods of time on-site during equipment installation.
• Generate and maintain design/test documentation.
• Improve and contribute to software application design, development and end-user’s experience.
• Analyze current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
• Study and research on schematic for build-to-print project.
• Understand the software requirements specification and deliver quality software fulfilled specification.
• Assist to maintain existing software/firmware application as well as create new function/feature.
• Be a team player and assist team members to complete assigned tasks and projects.
• Ensure project delivery and meet project timeline.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Mechatronics Engineering/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Experienced or keen to learn equipment control system/machine automation programming.
• Working knowledge in SEMI GEM Secs is an added advantage.
• Programming experience of PLC, GUI device and Motion Controllers is a plus.
• Computer literate, pleasant personality and able to work independently

Under limited supervision, the technician will install, service, and repair electronic equipment on board ships. You will test, adjust, and troubleshoot components, PCBs, sub-assemblies, and antennas. Load, update, and modify software. Use your knowledge of electronic theory and circuitry to address a variety of technical problems. Make intelligent use of complex schematics, and manuals to accurately achieve assignments. Upon completing the assignment, you will compose a detailed service report.
