Project-Based Infrastructure Design & Implementation

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their infrastructure requirements and deliver solutions that align with their business objectives.

Backup & Recovery Solutions

• Design, implement, and manage backup and recovery solutions using Veritas NetBackup across multiple customer environments.

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures customized for each customer.

• Ensure regular backups of critical systems and data, and perform recovery tests to validate the solutions for different customers.

Troubleshooting, Support & Maintenance

• Provide day-to-day support for VMware virtualized environments, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning.

• Monitor and maintain OCI infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.

• Administer and maintain backup solutions, performing regular backups, restorations, and testing disaster recovery plans.

• Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and troubleshooting for server and storage hardware.

• Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents, providing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.

Security and Compliance

Responsibilities

· Responsible on project tender and proposal

· Assist and follow up on pre and post tender clarification

· Preparation of tender submission documents and compile of proposal

· Adhere to proposal submission by deadline

· Prepare the proposal for management approval

· Assist in paper work and follow up with affiliates if necessary

Requirements

· Bachelor Degree in Business Management or other related discipline

· At least 1 year experience in project proposal or sales coordinator

· Prior experience in petrochemicals and offshore field is preferred

· Keen eye for exploring business opportunities

· Driven, passionate about sales

· Strong sales acumen

· Good in establishing rapport with all levels of people

· Excellent communication skill in English and Chinese, Mandarin to communicate with the Chinese/ Mandarin speaking stakeholders and vendors easily.

· Negotiation skills, risk analysis skill, high level of business acumen

· Possess good attitude, Proactive

· Project Management skill will be advantageous

· Able to work in fast-paced environment and meet tight schedules independently.

Job Scope:

• To carry out full-time site supervision as Resident Engineer as required under the Building Control Act & Regulations
• To carry out standing supervision as PE assignee as required under the Railway Protection Act during lifting operation
• Contract period is 14 month to cover the construction of an chinese temple at Plantation Crescent
• Contract start date: Tentatively Feb 2024
• Only 1 RE position to be filled

Remunerations:

• 2 months of gratuity will be provided upon completion of project
• Overtime is claimable, but overtime works shall be limited due to nearby residentail estates

Job Requirements:

• With valid RE certificate issued by IES
• Minimum 5 years working experience in building works supervision

Roles & Responsibilities:

To assist in ensuring the smooth operation of site activities

To provide logistical support (site utilisation) when needed, as requested by sub-contractors

To be the liaison for the coordination of different trades within the same discipline

Responsible for all on-site engineering issues pertaining to site matters

To assist in coordinating with sub-contractors and attend to clients' queries to ensure timely work arrangements

To be involved in the day-to-day management of site supervision of construction activity to ensure site works are carried out as per schedule and the local authorities’ quality standard

To assist in managing project documentation and maintain accurate records

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Design/Structural/Architectural/Civil Engineering/Building Construction or any equivalent qualification

Experience or knowledge in Bridge Construction/Crosshead/Lifting Frame/Launching Gantry Operation/Pre-cast Segment Method/MRT/LTA will be an advantage

More than 3 years of site experience in the Construction sector, preferably in superstructure crosshead/precast segmental bridge and Launching Gantry operation or similar

Good team player and able to work independently

BCSS certificate

• To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary
• To ensure that contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• To conduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures
• Coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), and relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc for the works
• To review, evaluate and assess all formwork structures, formwork support systems etc
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation
• To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• To review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
• To review the Contractor's design and supervise all works

Criteria:

- Min 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or supervision of installation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data and use of software for the presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.

- Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering

- Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore
