• Maintain and support Agile products, which include:
• Support application changes that might impact existing functionalities and processes or involve new features altogether

• Test and release management
• Participate in users’ training
• Provide audit and security review support

Requirements

• Degree holder
• At least 5 consecutive years in roles of similar capacity working with various language stacks focusing on ReactJS and NodeJS
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and architectures (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Proven expertise with web and mobile application and related architectures, and concepts e.g. security, microservices

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems integral to the construction and operation of a large-scale waste management facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in both mechanical and electrical engineering principles, with a focus on optimizing efficiency, safety, and sustainability within waste management operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust electrical systems that support mechanical equipment and processes used within the facility. Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainability goals.
• Installation and Integration: Supervise the installation of electrical systems, ensuring proper integration with mechanical equipment. This includes overseeing contractors, managing timelines, and troubleshooting issues during implementation.
• Maintenance and Upkeep: Implement preventive maintenance strategies for electrical systems to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment. Ensure systems are regularly inspected, calibrated, and optimized for peak performance.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Respond to system failures and technical issues, diagnosing problems quickly and effectively. Coordinate necessary repairs and adjustments to maintain operational efficiency.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems comply with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines. Perform regular safety audits and risk assessments to mitigate hazards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably within large-scale industrial or waste management facilities.
• Proficient in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance, particularly in industrial settings.
• Familiarity with waste management processes and the specific electrical requirements of such systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

DevOps Engineer

Your Background
