Requirements

· Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronic Engineering

· 5 to 8 years’ experience as a Production Manager or Assistant Production Manager

· Working experience in IC chip module mass production or IC chip module engineering environment.

· Working knowledge of die-attach process and equipment, wire-bonding process and equipment, encapsulation process and equipment, chip module testing process and equipment

· Experience in managing 100+ operators, technicians and engineers in a mass production environment

As a Project Manager, you will work on the top-of-mind strategic initiatives for the head of business, driving impact across business and technology areas. Topics will range from new product launches, organisational changes, business planning, infrastructure and footprint planning, internal communications, etc. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders such as product managers, R&D leaders, sales and marketing functions, legal and PR, etc. You will be the quarterback on multiple work streams, driving forward the collaboration on key topics across the BytePlus organization.

Responsibilities

In this role, we are looking for someone who has the experience and passion to run strategic projects from the start to end:

- Be an end-to-end project owner, from planning, goal establishment, formulation, identification of dependencies, project progress tracking management, project delivery, quality control;

- Be able to identify project risk and actively manage them, manage project resources in terms of resource coordination and communication;

- Understand the needs of each team, propose solutions and drive forward implementation, as well as cross-functional collaboration;

- Lead the problem-solving and drive research when needed for business' strategic initiatives;

- Drive regular business performance summaries and business reviews with the leadership;

- Support the day-to-day team management activities such as budgeting, all-hands, recruiting, legal, PR, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor degree or above, computer or related professional background

- At least 5 years of working experience in project management / strategy management of go-to-market teams in a fast-paced environment

- Have experience working in a software / technology / cloud-related company, and managing projects from start to end

Role Objectives:

The Service Manager oversees elevator and escalator maintenance operations within a designated area. This role ensures alignment with company values and policies while driving sustainable growth by exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safety

• Implement, monitor, and manage safety protocols in compliance with corporate guidelines and employment laws.
• Ensure timely incident reporting for equipment failures, product safety issues, or near misses.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety walks, and inspections to maintain a culture of safety.
• Ensure completion of Periodic Safety Inspections and address corrective actions promptly.

2. Business Growth & Profitability

• Manage operations within budget to meet reliability, cost, and profitability targets.
• Collaborate with the Service Contract Manager to convert equipment from free maintenance to paid portfolios and renew contracts with necessary adjustments.
• Recover lost maintenance contracts and explore repair and upgrade opportunities with customers.
• Optimize staffing needs, route organization, and workload distribution to improve operational efficiency.

3. Customer Satisfaction

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand needs and address concerns promptly.
• Conduct periodic inspections to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.

4. Maintenance Fulfillment & Quality Improvement:

• Drive breakdown reduction programs in collaboration with technical teams to improve portfolio reliability and performance.
• Ensure the timely implementation of corrective actions as instructed by the head office.

5. People Development

• Enhance the technical and non-technical skills of the service team to ensure compliance with procedures and customer satisfaction.
• Address skill gaps and foster continuous development within the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, with financial understanding.
• Skills: Strong customer and people orientation, effective communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the service industry, ideally in industrial or engineering goods sectors.
