Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in the marine industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations for our Singapore entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and delivering insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full set of accounts for the Singapore entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee financial and management accounting functions, including month-end and year-end closing processes within strict deadlines.
• Conduct revenue analysis, providing variance explanations on monthly financial results.
• Handle inventory movement entries and provisions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
• Prepare comprehensive budgets and forecasts, covering sales, profitability, capital expenditures (Capex), working capital, and operating costs.
• Manage audit processes, GST submissions, and corporate tax matters, liaising with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Oversee credit control, receivables management, and cash flow monitoring.
• Lead and organize the annual stock-taking process.
• Design, implement, and review effective internal control systems and financial procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Drive ad-hoc projects aimed at improving financial and operational processes across the business.

Requirements:

• A Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with a strong foundation in Singapore’s finance laws and regulations.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing, with exposure to the marine industry.
• In-depth knowledge of costing and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in using business system packages and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Strong analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proactive, independent, self-motivated, and action-oriented.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• High integrity and a strong commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements.
