OVERVIEW 

As a Broadcast Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and optimal performance of all broadcast equipment and systems. Your role will involve maintaining high technical standards to guarantee the continuous and uninterrupted transmission of our originated channels. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of broadcast equipment and contribute to new installation projects.

• Maintain and update system and infrastructure diagrams to ensure they reflect any changes to the facility or infrastructure. 

• Ensure continuous, uninterrupted operation of CNBC Asia Pacific’s originated channels. 

• Maintain and ensure the full operational functionality of production systems to support scheduled production activities. 

• Ensure post-production systems remain fully operational to meet post-production schedule. 

• Address and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruption to broadcast operations. 

• Perform routine and critical maintenance on on-air transmission equipment, studio equipment, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), air conditioning and computers, ensuring timely and efficient service. 

• Perform front line maintenance for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, including air conditioning and UPS systems. 

• Liaise with external suppliers, manufacturers and third-party service providers as required to source fixes for any identified gaps. 

• Provide proactive, engaged technical support to the Engineering team and ensure all systems remain up-to-date and functional.
