Position: Automation Engineer (PLC / Delta V)

Job Description:

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for an Automation Engineer on site with a client. In summary, you will be supporting the designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role involves ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of automated equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage change control processes specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Manage and execute PLC projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Design and engineer hardware components for PLC systems, ensuring they are robust, reliable, and meet project requirements.
• Provide on-site support and troubleshooting for PLC systems, addressing any issues that arise during installation, commissioning, and operation.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance of Automation systems as scheduled.
• Identify and address issues at recipe level as well as 3rd party interfaces with Automation systems.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting for DeltaV systems and related equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4-7 years of experience in Process Automation, preferably in a batch manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge in SCL will be advantageous.
• Familiar with documentation in a highly regulated environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Good understanding in customer's voice and quality requirements is a must
• Strong team player, able to effectively work within and across teams
• Ability to tactfully negotiate and positively influence peers, knowledge and experience in digitalization are added advantages
