Position title: QC Inspector

Salary: $2000 - $2800

Location: Ang Mo Kio (3 bus stops from Yio Chu Kang Interchange)

Working Days: 5 Days Work Week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm

Job Description:

•Microbiology test including environmental control, raw material and finished product test.

•Responsible from the incoming raw material, packaging material, pre-weight raw material, in-process product control till final product control

•Lab, retention room and pre-weight room maintenance of inventory, equipment, items and cleanliness

•Maintain and operate DI water system

•Pre-weight process monitoring and checking

•Responsible for in charge of retention sample, SDS and COA creation and modification

•If receive any customer complain regarding the product, QC will need to assist on trouble shooting or testing for product improvement

•Support internal audit and external audit for GMP, ISO14001, ISO9001 and ISO45001

•GMP and ISO documentation update, recording and maintenance

•Create, update and maintain SAP system

•Update and maintain Health Sciences Authority Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines, environmental practice guidelines, quality manual, health and safety policy

•Follow up and manage new records of products permits and licenses thru HSA

•Highlight, feedback, suggest during and/or after monthly staff meeting

•Monitor and manage pest control contract and location of baits, ensure monthly inspections are done

•Other projects and assignments instructed or delegated by management and director

Job Requirements:

•Minimum Diploma certificate with Chemistry background will be advantage

•At least 2-3 years’ experience in QC required

•Preferably with knowledge on GMP, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001

Job Scope

• Supports team task to enable adequate resources to support laboratory infrastructure (eg, equipment, method, system) needs
• Participates in the management of laboratory equipment and IT systems in QC laboratory to ensure business continuity and system data maintenance, equipment maintenance/calibration is in a state of compliance
• Participlates in method technology transfer and laboratory equipment technological refresh/introduction activities into QC laboratory within project timeline
• Participates in QC Laboratory long range planning to ensure laboratory infreastructure needs in secured and Date integrity plan is in place to support business and laboratory complaince
• Author or Review (if assigned) method transfer/qualification and equipment qualification documentation (eg, reports, protocol, change control, related quality documents of procedures) are in cGMP compliance to corporate/site or regulatory requirements
• Supports and ensure timely escalation/handling of lab events or related quality actions (eg, NCR, Lab Investigation, CAPA)
• Acts as QC SME/Supports preparation and participate in internal/external audit, audit responses, to enable a successful audit outcome
• Participate in EHS, Business Compliance, cGMP and all other compliance-related matters, where applicable
• Lead supports CI initiatives to enable laboratory performance metrics
• Carry out any other task as assigned by Supervisor'

Responsibilities:

• Timely completion and data verification of all testing of raw material, intermediates, in-process control samples and final product.
• Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date, and accurate records for all conducted tests.
• Serve as a SME for a range of instruments and techniques, offering support as needed for both simple and complex issues.
• Lead and perform any method transfer or method validation protocols or equipment qualifications and support the transfer of new products
• Demonstrate understanding and adherence to cGMP 6S concepts.
• Able to present clearly and lead confidently during audits and site leadership inquiries
• Write/revises procedures as necessary and make recommendations for process improvement
• Perform variety of laboratory techniques with minimal error
• Train new analysts and technicians on instruments and techniques.
• Assist the lab supervisor in following up with corrective actions
• Lead laboratory investigations, collaborating with QA to ensure successful closure.
• Participate in tier meeting for manufacturing updates on incoming raw materials/in-process samples and final API
• Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing EHS standards, procedures, and policies

Requirements:

• Bachelors in biology, biochemistry and chemistry or related science degree
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in pharma manufacturing
• Able to commit to 12 hour rotating day/night shift
