Focal point for inspection queries and scheduling of inspection activities. Ensures conformance of materials, purchased parts and manufactured parts in alignment with quality control plans, specifications, processes and standards. Adds value by ensuring products and services are delivered in compliance with customer expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Unboxing, unwrapping and preparing of items for inspection.
• Execute in process and/or final inspection of materials, purchased parts and manufactured parts to ensure conformance with quality control plan, procedures, documentation and standards.
• Review and ensure manufacturing work orders and associated documentation is completed and processed correctly in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor and ensure callibration of equipment, work areas are kept clean and appropriate PPE and best practice lifting practices are adhered to at all times.

• Effectively communicate non conformance issues to engineering / production expedites solutions as necessary to support delivery objectives.
• Attending production meetings.

The role will also provide strategic plan and expertise for the development and implementation of the Microbial Control Strategy. Develop, document and manage microbial control strategy for production processes from incoming raw materials through final product release.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide support and expertise to ensure that Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) and Media preparation operations and support functions for Cleanroom management, Materials Management, Aseptic practices, Environmental monitoring (EM). Sterilisation methods, and Aseptic process simulations (APS) to confidently deliver CT products to patients with the highest quality sterility assurance level.
• Review policies and procedures and related completed media fill/APS documentation, Environmental Monitoring sample plans, cleanroom qualifications, environmental monitoring excursions, deviations and sterility failures.

Key requirements:

• Engineering/ Life Science Diploma/Degree or higher from recognized institution with significant years of QA or QC Sterile processing and Microbial experience in similar capacity.
• GMP experience in the biologics industry is required.
• Working knowledge of microbiological and sterility testing, media fills, environmental monitoring , clean room qualification and management, quality control endotoxin testing and microbiological control strategy required.
• Experience with oversight of aseptic processing and the associated international aseptic processing regulations are required.
• Experience in cell culture, cell or gene therapy experience is a plus.

What you will be doing:

● Develop system designs, including programming and selecting instrumentation and control equipment

● Prepare and review I&C specifications, requirements, and drawings, such as instrument lists, datasheets, ICA panels, control valves, process functional descriptions, and single line diagrams (SLD).

● Oversee control architecture, create single line drawings, and develop control schematic diagrams, with a focus on programming and necessary modifications for SCADA/HMI systems.

● Collaborate in the development of P&IDs, package specifications, logic diagrams, cause-and-effect diagrams, and control narratives.

● Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQs).

● Lead and liaise with suppliers regarding Instrumentation and Control Automation (ICA).

Your Capabilities and Credentials
