Responsibilities
· Perform FPI, MPI, ECI and UT inspection on aircrafts and its components per our client’s specifications and our NDT procedures.
· Proper maintenance of NDT inspection system to meet the requirements of customers and regulating agencies.
· Prepare NDT technique sheets and maintain the quality system adequately in accordance with company’s requirements.
· Constantly explore and seek improvements to increase efficiency.
· Solve NDT technical issues and problems, as appropriate, when encountered during daily work.
· Assist NDT Level 3/Operations Manager in operations planning to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.
· As a new NDT set-up, you will be a pioneer in leading and supervising a team of NDT technicians in performing daily tasks including work assignment and monitoring.
· Participate in production linearity projects to increase productivity, maintain a good housekeeping routine and other workshop activities.
· Upkeep & maintain all NDT equipment, tooling and fixtures.
· Comply and adhere to code of ethics as well as EH&S regulations, standards, requirements and procedures.
· Actively support and participate in Continuous Improvement, Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) and Quality projects and initiatives.
· Carry out any other duties as assigned by NDT Level 3/Operations Manager.
Requirements
· GCE O Level or higher.
· 2 years of relevant technical experience in aerospace industry.
· Have attended formal NDT training in PT & MT methods from Outside Agencies approved by the Singapore National Aerospace NDT Board. (The minimum formal training hours is 32 hours for each method)
· Have gained at least 400 hours of documented work experience for PT method, and at least 530 hours of documented work experience for MT method.
· Possession of current or previous NAS 410 & EN4179 Level 2 certifications in PT & MT methods is essential.
· Candidates with additional NAS 410 & EN4179 Level 2 certifications in ET & UT methods will have an advantage.
· Candidates who have completed and passed the relevant CAAS and EASA examinations, such as M09 and/or M10, is preferred.
· Good analytical skills, able to grasp concepts, track and resolve issues quickly.
· Experience in Continuous Improvement, Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) and Quality projects and initiatives.
· Self-motivated to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
· Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
