Key Responsibilities:

Audit and Compliance

Food Quality and Operational Audits:

• Develop and implement comprehensive audit programs to assess food quality, safety, and compliance with internal and external standards / regulations (e.g., SFA, HACCP).
• Conduct regular, detailed audits across multiple locations, focusing on health and safety, preparation processes, and final product presentation.
• Perform mystery shopper assessments and operational reviews, particularly targeting high-volume quick service restaurants (QSR) and fast-food environments, to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards. In addition, work with external agencies.
• Analyze audit findings to identify non-compliance issues and develop corrective and continuous action plans.
• Use feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement, ensuring continuous enhancement in both product and service quality.

Training and Development

Quality and Compliance Training:

• Design and implement robust training programs focusing on food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
• Train kitchen and service staff on food science principles, emphasizing best practices in hygiene, safety protocols, and quality assurance.

Halal and SFA Compliance:

• Liaise with certification bodies to ensure compliance with regulations across all products and processes.
• Enforce strict adherence to halal standards, from ingredient sourcing to final food preparation.

Innovation

Menu Development:

• Work with the culinary, operations and marketing teams to design innovative menu items, focusing on market trends, customer preferences, and seasonal ingredients.
• Leverage food science and nutrition expertise to create balanced, appealing, and nutritionally sound offerings.
• Research and analyze competitor products, particularly in fast food and QSR sectors, to introduce unique, high-quality pizza and other menu items.
• Conduct extensive testing and refinement of recipes, ensuring they meet taste, quality, and nutritional standards before integration into the menu.

Continuous Improvement

Process Optimization:

• Identify inefficiencies in operations, particularly in high-volume QSR and fast-food settings, and implement process improvements.
• Utilize data analytics and customer insights to refine processes, enhance service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Hospitality Management, or Business Administration.
• Certifications in food safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, WSQ Level 3) strongly preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, food innovation, quality management, or product development, specifically within QSRs, fast food chains, or multi-location F&B environments.
• Proven track record in menu development, applying food science and nutritional principles to create appealing, health-conscious offerings.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing quality systems across multiple outlets.
• Knowledge of pizza workflow is a plus point.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong creative thinking with a deep understanding of food science, nutrition, and culinary innovation.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, food safety standards, and operational processes in fast food and QSR settings.

1. The scope of Services for the One (1) Onshore Quality Assurance/ Tester shall be as follows:

a) Understand and document business processes, workflow and user story;

b) Perform checks under both functional and non-functional scopes of testing;

c) Review, develop and align test plan, test cases, scenarios and strategies, ensure adherence to quality standards;

d) Perform manual and automated testing using Tricentis TOSCA, including preparing test data when necessary;

e) Develop and maintain automated test scripts;

f) Review, support and participate in functionality and technical testing such as performance testing, security, interface integration and usability testing;

g) Review test reports and results of the Authority’s appointed contractors for the Authority’s systems;

h) Collaborate and coordinate with system stakeholders and Authority’s appointed contractors for testing;

i) Review test process and recommend improvement, which includes analysing test processes and methodologies, identify area for improvement and recommend process optimisations and best practices; and

j) Manage test activities and ensure the planned test activities are completed as scheduled.

2. The One (1) Onshore Quality Assurance/ Tester proposed by the Contractor shall have at least 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance/ Tester or equivalent position and the following skill sets:

a) Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines would be preferred;

b) Certified Software Testing Professional and/or Certified Software Quality Analyst will be an added advantage;

c) Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to details, good interpersonal skills such as tactfulness, good presentation and listening skills;

d) Experience in the following would be advantageous:

i. Automated testing tools such as Tricentis TOSCA; and

ii. Testing for government public services.

e) Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills, able to interact professionally with all levels of the organisation.

Details of the Division and Team:

The APAC Head of Risk, Regulatory and Controls is a senior 1st line of Defence (1LOD) role accountable for leading technology risk reduction strategy and protecting the Bank’s Licence to operate through compliance and adherence to technology regulations across the 14 APAC countries managed by the APAC Country Technology Management (CTM) division.

This includes proactive risk management and timely resolution of risks and regulatory issues, leads problem solving for complex issues, ensures regulatory compliance, deploys and/or enhances risk management related processes, and promote sustainable approaches to risk and regulatory resolution together with senior and global functional stakeholders. The candidate will also be accountable for the oversight of internal / external inspections, remediation assurance, and establishing risk culture and control strategies.

This role will also act as an advisor to the APAC technology senior management – including appropriate necessary escalations for policy / regulatory breaches - and will be an independent regional contact point that ensures IT regulatory and control topics are strategically addressed, have the appropriate sustainable controls in place, etc

Your key responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

• Challenge risk and control weaknesses tactfully, and provide advisory to senior management and/or business lines for sustainable risk remediation options, or strategies arising from gap assessments, identified weaknesses or events, etc.
• Lead and establish regulatory / audit engagement frameworks, oversight and processes across APAC to deliver consistent and timely audit and regulatory responses
• Establish and lead proactive management, and the timely resolution of risk and regulatory findings and related remediation activities
• Develop and lead structured problem solving for control issues, and ensuring resolution plans are strategic and sustainable against commercial viabilities Chair and/or lead risk forums to govern overall risk and regulatory portfolio, and effective operational risk management processes
• Actively contributes to the design of risk and control programmes and policies with 1LOD and 2LOD functions, and in line with defined risk and control strategy, and risk appetite / tolerances
• Deliver strategic and automated solutions to link technology controls and processes to technology-relevant regulations and policy offices, including the digitalization of regulatory assessments
• Establish IT Regulatory risk and Control Framework for APAC, working with global colleagues to deliver governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) for technology controls
• Establishes positive risk culture and drives behavioral change

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 10 years of total working experience, with at least 6 years in technology risk and / or regulatory management
• Proven track record with Technology regulatory adherence / assessment and Technology Governance
• Strong understanding and/or familiarity with APAC technology regulations related to financial institutions (e.g., MAS, HKMA, RBI, BNM, OJK, etc.)
• Proven track record with any of the following:
• Proven track record with any of the following::
  o Independent finding validation and assurance
  o Audit / regulatory inspection management
  o Technology risk assessment
  o Audit or regulatory-related strategic transformation / remediation projects
  o IT controls / GRC platform, framework, and processes

As an Operational Control Analyst for the Asia Rice Platform, your role is to be a key financial partner to the platform, and be primarily responsible for timely reporting, monitoring and analysis of the Business Results and Exposures.
