Quality Assurance/ Tester

Responsibility

• Understand and document business processes, workflow and user story;
• Perform checks under both functional and non-functional scopes of testing;
• Review, develop and align test plan, test cases, scenarios and strategies, ensure adherence to quality standards;
• Perform manual and automated testing using Tricentis TOSCA, including preparing test data when necessary;
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts;
• Review, support and participate in functionality and technical testing such as performance testing, security, interface integration and usability testing;
• Review test reports and results of the Authority’s appointed contractors for the Authority’s systems;
• Collaborate and coordinate with system stakeholders and Authority’s appointed contractors for testing;
• Review test process and recommend improvement, which includes analysing test processes and methodologies, identify area for improvement and recommend process optimisations and best practices; and Manage test activities and ensure the planned test activities are completed as scheduled.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines would be preferred;
• Certified Software Testing Professional and/or Certified Software Quality
• Analyst will be an added advantage;
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to details, good interpersonal skills such as tactfulness, good presentation and listening skills;
• Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills, able to interact professionally with all levels of the organisation.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance/ Tester or equivalent position

To ensures that all supply chain processes, meet stringent quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers, logistics, and internal teams to maintain consistency, reduce risks, and enhance customer satisfaction by upholding product and process quality.

1. Assists develop and setup a standardize FSMS (HACCP as based) that meet the legal and regulation compliance demand across various national and international legal frameworks.

2. Assist Setup food safety internal audit system to verify the effectives of the FSMS implementation.

3. Assist manage variation in the food safety of compliance system in local sites due to resource and culturally different.

4. Assist setup supplier food safety control system and supplier food safety audit system.

5. Develop and provide training for food safety and quality requirements.

6. Develop and maintain documentation such as SOP’s, as well as maintenance of manuals, policies and procedures as relate to any food safety concerns.

7. Update existing food safety procedures and documentation to keep up with changing requirements.

8. Oversee proper maintenance and sanitation of all facility to comply with food safety requirements.

9. Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed and documented correctly at all times.

10. Plan, Arrange a monitor outlet food product microbial test result and trend analysis.

11. Be the main contact point with SFA (Singapore Food Agency).

12. Conduct facility food safety audits as well as manage third party audits e.g SS444:2018 / ISO 22000

13. Assist on provide Food Safety consultancy and food safety audit for PUTIEN sister company / Partner / Franchisee.

14. Assists prepare periodical FSMS implement progression and outcome report and review the effectiveness’ of the FSMS implementation.

15. Work closely with operation team on provide technical assistant and guidance in conducting food safety related investigation on customer feedback and nonconformance issues and give recommendation for continual improvement.

16. Conduct routine inspection for products processed at production.

17. Assists and involve in 3rd party food safety audit or inspection.

18. Provide assistant in any ad hoc assignment if any

19. Identifies areas for process improvement and leads initiatives to enhance quality systems

20. Oversees complex QA activities, including planning and implementing QA strategies for large projects

21. Provide professional opinions or suggestions that related to food safety to department as and when needed

22. Responsible for ensuring team performance and meeting quality objectives.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree (Preferably in Food Science, Food Technology)
• Familiar with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 1 year experience as QA / QC
• Relevant experience in food manufacturing sector will be an added advantage
• Positive working attitude with good adaptability

Objectives of the position:

This role is for the Customer Quality Support for Company’s product distribution where Customer’s feedback & Product Quality requirements / issues are handled. The person will be responsible to handle Customers requirements such as complaints, test data & other technical information as requested. Customer complaints handling will also include the necessary communication with all the stake holders (Customer, Supplier, CS, PP, SVM, LOG). Knowledge in cable testing and specification requirements will be required to understand Customer complaints (technical & logistics).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage Customer complaint processes such as acknowledgement of the complaint, updating into SAP, keeping track of the complaint, closure of the complaint & summarizing for monthly reporting. Proper handling of customers’ needs by providing accurate and timely information on enquiries related to cable standards, test reports and handling of customer complaints.

2. Track supplier quality by means of in-coming inspection when required or arise from Customer complaints. Update results in SAP system and release inspected lots according to the usage decision defined. To generate supplier CAR and track for corrective action by liaising with the supplier.

3. Familiar with and comply to international cable testing standards and procedures. Contribute to achieving company & department KPIs through due diligence, duty of care & personal accountability for Quality assurance in all tasks.

4. Liaising with relevant departments to effectively close the Customer complaints

5. Maintain records in SAP

6. Operate Laboratory test equipment when required

7. Assist Customer’s Technical enquiries e.g Product Test Report, RoHS, REACH, CE

8. Supplier claim processes and 8D report.

9. Prepare and issue Customer Test Certificates & COC

10. Assist in other day to day activities related to QA department as assigned by Superior.

Skills & Qualification:

▪ Min. Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical) or equivalent

▪ Min. 2 years’ experience in electrical / electronic product testing and qualification. Training will be provided.

▪ Knowledge in ISO 9001 : 2015 QMS standard.

▪ Must be able to operate lab equipment (calliper, visual scope, resistance checker, High voltage tester).

▪ Prior experience in SAP system is required for this role. Knowledge of cable product testing is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Inspection & Quality Control: Perform incoming and outgoing inspections according to established procedures, including factory routine tests and official tests for switchboards. Ensure that non-conforming products are separated and rejected as necessary.
• Quality Documentation: Maintain quality records and file data. Highlight quality issues to the appropriate management for action.
• Authorization & Release: Authorize the rejection of unsatisfactory parts and the release of conforming parts for storage and customer delivery.
• Customer Satisfaction & Warranty: Ensure the successful testing and commissioning of switchboards on-site or on vessels, and address warranty claims or customer quality complaints.
• Problem Prevention & Solutions: Initiate actions to prevent non-conformities, recommend solutions, and verify their implementation.
• Safety, Calibration & Housekeeping: Follow safety rules, use calibrated instruments for inspections, maintain good housekeeping in the QA department, and assist the manager in meeting quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Min ITE/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• At least 2 years of QA experience
