Our client is a market leader in MICE industry. They are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual for their Finance Manager, Accounts Receivable (AR) position in Singapore.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you shall be responsible for all trade receivables functions and the day-to-day AR operational matters.

• Ensure that all trade receivable functions in the department are being handled and documented properly.
• Oversee daily AR reconciliation, credit notes and vouchers.
• Manage and prepare daily and monthly AR reconciliation, accrual of journal entries, month-end closing and AR GST reports.
• Identify and evaluate credit risk and assess credit history of clients.
• Regularly monitor debtors aging, collections, and reconciliation.
• Personally handle overdue payment (visit, negotiate, analyse and report) in accordance with the collections procedures.
• Assist AP team with daily posting of invoices when required.
• Ensure financial and business-related legislative compliance are met.
• Review and implement internal control procedures and policies in AR team.
• Support digitalization of Finance processes.
• Support the Management with special projects and business change initiatives.

Your Profile

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or professional qualifications (such as ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience in credit control, reporting and AR function with 3 years of experience in supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge in AR, credit control, collections, reporting, credit evaluation, accounting and finance.
• Prior experience in handling full sets of accounts with focus on AR function is a big plus.
• Ability to handle high volume of transactions.
• Effective and fast problem solving and resolution.
• Highly organised with good project management and analytical skills.
• Good organizing skills and prioritization capabilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with the use of technology, social media, and paperless business processes.

• Conduct regular PLC and control system maintenance to optimize performance.
• Monitor system performance continuously to achieve maximum uptime.
• Coordinate projects for automation improvements, ensuring seamless implementation.
• Identify and troubleshoot system abnormalities, offering technical solutions.
• Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects for enhanced efficiency.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in related working experience.
• Experience in PLC systems.
• Experience in ELV systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Be involved in supporting Internal and External Audit.

• Conduct timely inspections and/or verifications of incoming materials and assess line fallout.
