Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments for network payment technologies, including payment gateways, processing systems, and transaction networks.
• Identify and analyze technology risks associated with payment processing, including transaction failures, system vulnerabilities, fraud, and third-party dependencies.
• Evaluate security risks such as unauthorized access, data breaches, and integrity issues across payment systems.
• Ensure risks related to network and transaction latency, downtime, and scalability are properly identified and addressed.
• Develop and implement a robust technology risk and control framework for network payment systems.

• Collaborate with technology and business teams to establish controls for incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity specific to payment systems.
• Design control measures to mitigate risks associated with payment processes, such as anti-money laundering (AML), fraud prevention, and Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance.
• Ensure payment systems comply with relevant regulatory standards such as PCI-DSS, SOX, ISO 27001, and SWIFT guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving regulations affecting payment technologies, including data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, PCI-DSS) are preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or payments technology, with a focus on network and payment systems.
• Strong knowledge of network payments infrastructure, including payment gateways, processors, point-of-sale systems, and online transaction networks.
• Experience in risk assessment, technology control implementation, and audit processes related to financial or payment systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards, including PCI-DSS, SWIFT, and other financial services compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing risk control measures for network payment systems.

THE POSITION

The Quality System Engineer is key member whom will contribute towards the success of the Quality/ Environment/ Safety systems of the company. He (she) will drive the respective systems to ensure conformance and handles all external and customers' audits.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and maintain the implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the company, including any accreditations

• Ensure applicable QMS practices are up to date and compliant with quality and regulatory requirements.

• Responsible for company-wide awareness of customer and applicable quality & regulatory requirements. Create awareness programs where required.

• Recommend any improvement to the site QMS.

• Provide training on quality issues and business processes.

• Support corporate and site initiatives/ projects related to the quality system

• Point of contact and leads all external customers and quality system audits

• Support surveys and audits in areas relating to environment and sustainability

• Conducts suppliers' audits

• Manage the company’s internal audit system and the corrective actions and improvements

CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Quality Engineering

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Quality Engineer

• Familiarity with Singaporean regulatory requirements regarding quality systems, environment, and safety standards such ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

Job Requirements:

• Serve as the designated compliance officer for the firm and the funds covering Singapore, US and Cayman regulations
• Ensure adherence to both group compliance procedures and compliance regulations (whichever sets a higher standard) for employees interfacing with clients in Singapore.

• Generate daily P&L from portfolio management systems and reconcile with our managed account and fund admin’s official P&L, and investigate/resolve discrepancies with our managed account and fund administrators on all P&L related issues.
• Perform the P&L attribution of the fund and individual portfolio managers.
• Check data integrity of market data sources, understand the product valuations models and be able to troubleshoot any curves/market data issues.
• Work with Trading analyst/portfolio manager and operations to perform month-end sell-downs on non-USD currency cash balance.
• Review and signoff regulatory reporting fillings prepared by our fund administrator.
• Partner with various stakeholders (Fund administrator / External IT vendors / Internal IT team / Operations / Trader Analysts/ PMs) to work on various projects to improve the process and add value to the firm.

The role has potential to develop into a Chief Compliance Officer role in 3-5 years for the right candidate.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Have 8-12 years’ experience in a large bank or a hedge fund
• Have at least 5 years’ experience in a Compliance function at a large bank or a hedge fund
• Strong understanding of compliance framework for hedge funds in Singapore, Cayman and US
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to uphold a high standard of compliance across all business functions.
• Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to motivate others.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Be a fast learner capable of independent action when necessary.
• Work well within a team environment.
• Familiarity with Sharepoint and database document management systems is advantageous.
