Assist Head of Department – Compliance on the following:

AML/CFT compliance

• To monitor AML/CFT Compliance
• To conduct the half yearly audit and liaise with HODs on regular basis to regularise the screening process
• Conduct the New Joiners Training programme quarterly. To do a refresher training for all existing employees along with New Joiners. Conduct one training session for Agents
• To file the Suspicious Transactions with SPF and report to MAS
• Identify the sanctioned entities from the emails received from various regulatory authority and send to the respective departments
• To read through the regulations/guidelines, analyse the existing policy, and liaise with other insurance company AML professionals to get the latest update and modify the policy accordingly
• To identify the EDD cases and work with respective departments to ensure the compliance
• To work with IT department and Lexis Nexis and identify the areas of improvement and solutions for existing issues

The research activities involve (but not limited to):

• Operating a wide variety of instruments, data retrieval
• Laboratory chemical analyses and speciation
• Modeling chemical reactions of airborne pollutants
• Assisting and contributing to project deliverables, including,
• Planning and conduct experiments, data analyses, progress reporting, report writing, etc.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do For Us:

This role will oversee the company's trade compliance program, manage transportation and logistics operations, and coordinate with various stakeholders. You'll be working with the Plant General Manager, Plant Finance Manager, Plant Planning Logistic Manager, Trade Compliance Plant Project Lead, Corporate Trade Compliance Manager, OU/CPS Legal team, Share Service Supply Chain, and CPS Corporate Finance Team.

• Stay abreast of international trade laws, customs regulations, and trade agreements to ensure compliance and manage communication with relevant local authorities.
• Work collaboratively with function leaders and stakeholders to follow import/export and sanctions laws and regulations and address operational issues with timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Corporate Legal for engagement with customs authorities and agencies to resolve inquiries, setting up new shipping lanes, SAP set-up, and customs requirements.
• Carry out transportation and logistics operations effectively, managing 3rd party in-plant traffic coordinators and optimizing utilization rate and route of vehicles.
• Deliver training to raise awareness of compliance requirements and best practices amongst employees, while overseeing internal audits to identify non-compliance areas.
• Ensure the completeness of shipment documentation, reviewing import/export documents for accuracy and consistency; Monitor dispatch status and logistics needs, triggering the creation of necessary paperwork.

• Manage and validate the invoicing processes with carriers and finance teams, taking responsibility for claim management process and coordination.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of trade compliance experience with a strong understanding of ASEAN, Singapore FTA, and supply chain management.
• University degree in a related field with 2+ years of people leadership experience in a supply chain environment.
• Knowledge in transportation, logistics, Incoterm, trans-shipment, with preferred IATA, IMDG certifications.
• Proficiency in government and supplier relationship management.

• Manage the quality assurance/quality control function on-site on various project phases.
• Ensure that the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements are implemented by the sub-contractor on site and the particular hold points required are coordinated with the Project Team.
• Review Inspection, Test, Plans as submitted by the sub-contractor’s and ensure compliance with authorities/client's requirements.
• Closely monitor site activities, fully coordinate with site engineers, issuing NCR’s in case of non-compliance.
• Monitoring and checking calibration of plants, equipment and testing instruments.
• Monitoring plant conditions and material production during construction phase.
• Approval of source of materials, keeping track of the testing, quality and usage of materials procured for the works.
• Perform inspections of deliverables to ensure that material is as per approvals.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents
• Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan(PQP).
