Responsibilities

• Responsible for attending the customer complaints and develop resolution
• Responsible in planning and coordinating with the Production on non-conformance product screening as well as conducting containment measures and minimizes DMR issued by customers
• Responsible for providing engineering support to Internal Departments related to quality and technical issues

Job Description & Requirements

· Incremental development of existing modules to increase reliability, reduce costs and ease manufacturing, assembly and maintenance.

· Investigate engineering change requests and implement design changes.

· Mind safety and international machine product standards.

· Abide design to cost principles in any aspects

· Create 3D modules and BOM´s incl. 2D drawings following the BESI standards and design rules.

· Work closely with other disciplines (electronics/software) to meet project objectives

· Ensure fast response to production issues

Education

BSc degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics engineering

Work experience

At least 3-5 years relevant experience in automation / equipment industries.

Significant practical experience in mechanical engineering, assembly and testing

Expertise and methodology

Proficiency in CAD software ProEngineer/Creo.

Experience with PDM/PLM software (PTC Windchill or eMatrix) is a pre.

Proven problem solving skills

Very good English skills (verbal and written)

Understanding of cost drivers within manufacturing and across the supply chain

Good knowledge of mechanical parts evaluation and qualification

Understanding of assembly procedures of complex mechatronic systems
