Responsibilities

Due diligence on borrowers

• Due diligence on prospective clients before taking up the proposals on board and at time of review which includes obtaining ACRA, D&B, status reports from banks, statements of accounts with existing banks and market reports. Checking the names with RBI defaulters list and litigations etc. against the company / directors /shareholders.
• Ensure necessary CDD / AML & CFT measures are in place in relation with promoter’s background and business, including any adverse media reports.

Screening of prospective & existing borrowers

• Carry out screening of directors / shareholders in world compliance check and obtain KYC documents.

· Carry out credit rating of the customer as per internal rating model. The FutureChina (FC) division focuses on trend watching, topical studies and content curation on China’s economy and international relations with Singapore and other countries. It is in charge of curating and delivering the Business China’s annual flagship event – the FutureChina Global Forum (FCGF), an international platform for business leaders and experts to share their geopolitical and economics views and assessments regarding China. The team is also responsible for the Business China Award, which aims to honour outstanding individuals and enterprises for their contributions to Singapore-China relations.

The FC division maintains a strong corporate and government network in Singapore and the region and brings in exclusive value & China’s insights to Business China’s corporate members. The team also conceptualises and implements programmes helmed by Political Office Holders (POHs) and prominent business leaders.

This role allows you to be in the thick of exciting research, analysis and discussions on the current and future developmental trajectory, economic and business trends in China, and with China and Chinese businesses in other countries.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage the implementation of FC programmes
2. Research and curate content for the various programmes
3. Identify, cultivate and secure potential partners and sponsors for programmes
4. Drive business development, recruitment and marketing of assigned programmes and events
5. Engage partners for current and new programmes
6. Drive the corporate membership strategies and implementation

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely settlements from Clients/Reinsurers in accordance to contract terms and procedures
• Reconcile outstanding balances with Clients/Reinsurers and identify problem areas
• Research on unidentified cash balances, when necessary, that are responsible under your care
• Perform cash allocation and arrange for settlement to relevant parties
• Request additional information, as needed;
• Handle queries both internally and externally promptly
• Ensure that claim collections are monitored and collected promptly
• Perform audit confirmation whenever requested by clients and reinsurers
• Engage actively with Service Advocates for the efficient collection of balances
• Deputize for Team Lead as a point of escalation
• All other duties as required by the management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in business / Finance or equivalent
• Experience in Credit Control and Technical Accounting
• Team player, ability to multi-task, work independently and communicate in a dynamic team environment
• Meticulous and able to multi-task under tight deadlines - exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders in a professional environment

The role involves:

The ideal candidate should possess:

Havas Media Singapore is looking for an Associate / Media Manager (Integrated Media) with at least 4-5 years of experience in integrated media. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the management and delivery of advertising campaigns for a portfolio of integrated media accounts.

Main responsibilities:

• Day-to-day client management to ensure alignment through all stages of the account and campaign lifecycle. You will be the key point of contact for client services
• You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the strategy development, campaign planning, execution, implementation, optimisation, and performance analysis of your assigned portfolio
• Work with the agency teams to define media strategies, make recommendations, and lead negotiations with clients and partners
• Outline and execute master agreements, client budgets and financial invoicing relating to your assigned portfolio of accounts
• Manage a portfolio of integrated media accounts with the support of your team of Media Planners and Media Executives. Plan, distribute and oversee the teams’ tasks
• Support the training and any recruitment of team members; Monitor and appraise their work performance
• Ad-hoc involvement in new business pitching

Requirements for this role:

• Relevant qualifications in marketing, communications, or other relevant disciplines; or relevant work experience
• At least 4-5 years of experience in planning and managing integrated media campaigns (including TV and other offline, digital display, ad networks, and third-party partners)
• Experience in hub relationship management; working with global, regional, and local teams
• Strong understanding of the media and advertising landscape in Singapore
• Experience with the APAC region and in-depth market knowledge of specific regions
• Strong understanding of local planning insights and regional market nuances
• Solid knowledge and command of media planning/trading skills, tools, and market updates and knowledge
• Strong business acumen and a sense of financial management. You will be overseeing the management of client budgets and financials for the assigned portfolio
