About the role

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Engage various government agencies, TAC and companies to understand industry needs and technology requirements, and to collate the industry intelligence for the institute.
• Formulate a comprehensive industry development strategy and engagement plan for an assigned Industry Initiative to effectively reach out to the industry.
• Execute industry engagement plans and drive initiatives to establish strong collaborations with companies, facilitating successful technology transfers.
• Organise industry-sharing events such as seminars, roundtable discussions, and workshops to outreach to the industry , foster meaningful connections with the industry and secure research collaboration projects
• Meet Industry KPI: Grow SIMTech Industry Revenue, Industry in-kind contribution, Licensing revenue, competitive funding, publicity of successful implementation of SIMTech solutions
• Collaborate with the Course Leader to formulate and initiate training courses tailored to the industry’s needs, by providing market intelligence information, competitive analysis and gap analysis.
• Support the Research Groups in industry-related engagements for competitive project formulation and seamless execution.
• Take charge of the business and legal documentation for projects, including liaising with companies and alignment with internal stakeholders.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and take charge of business aspects in ongoing projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.

• Demonstrated ability to organize and execute industry outreach activities to generate industry interest to secure successful collaborations.

• Bonus: With industry experience in Manufacturing or R&D sectors. Additional qualifications in Business will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute existing marketing plans according to business requirements.
• Oversees all marketing communications efforts for new cars and bikes including ongoing tactical communications (e.g. advertisements, targeting), ongoing operational communications (e.g. localised brochures, flyers, spec cards for all models, promotional flyers, SCs selling kits),
• Maintain company digital presence and CRM-related communications (e.g. eDMs, newsletters).
• Media planning & strategizing which includes above-the-line media channels such as TV, Newspapers, Magazines, Out-of-Home Billboards, new media such as digital and mobile advertising platforms, and below-the-line channels such as mail drops, partnerships database mining and eDMs.

Requirements

• Dip/Degree in Marketing / Business Administration or equivalent with 3-4 Years in Marketing department with mentorship experience preferred.
• Digital Marketing, SFMC, Microsoft and Photoshop knowledge is preferred.
• Leadership to motivate team mates and guide partners (creative/media and event agencies).
• Ability to ensure that marketing plans are executed accordingly and is in-line with companys business objectives
• Ability to ensure tasks and projects assigned are carried out in the best manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage large and complex projects on site – liaise closely with the customers and building management on project specifications and ensure that the project is carried out according to the set timeline
• Execute project cost estimates and ensure project profitability
• Ensure that M&E drawings submitted by the sub-contractors meet the quality standards
• Conduct quality audit checks on the appointed sub-contractors to ensure installation quality.
• Plan and coordinate appointed M&E sub-contractors for implementing the projects and engage with the company’s internal teams to ensure equipment delivery, installation, testing and commissioning are done on time
• Provide the weekly progress report update to the sales & management team
• Work closely with the project administrator to provide financial revenue phasing, project closure & project margin analysis timely.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering

• Experience in presenting to project stakeholders.
• Well-versed in the Microsoft Office, Project & Autocad software.
