Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred;

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

SQP oversees critical and non critical supplier mainly mechanical parts in. SQP is responsible in leading before and after FAS (First Article Submission) qualify and monitor quality performance of new / existing suppliers and ensure uninterrupted supplies of materials and services. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead and Drive First Article Submission for new and existing supplier

Supplier Quality Professional develop Quality plan such as Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Manufacturing Process Plan (MPP) & Inspection Test Plan (ITP) to new supplier. Perform supplier audits such as QMS, Process and HSE. This will involve visit/audit and assessing their capability and FAI. SQP shall work with Sourcing and Engineering, to engage and educate suppliers/sub-contractors.

2. Lead quality performance review

Worked closely with suppliers, to monitor conduct audit for vendor performance. Conduct in process audit and drive for closure of audit findings and continuous improvement and reduction of COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality). 3. Supplier Development.

SQP shall drive for vendor development, identify and develop new special process to meet turnkey objective and reduce leadtime of supplier.

4. Analyse supply market.

SQP shall propose and execute creative ways to improve supplier process which creates financial value to the organization.

5. Maintain good relationship with stake holders and customer/s

SQP maintain good relationship with stakeholders such as Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering and Quality. Work with cross functional teams in resolution of process and quality issues related to design, application and manufacturing process. Develop quality consciousness and impart application of quality tools such as FMEA, 8D.

6. Develop Product Quality Control Plan

SQP shall also be in charge in developing Quality Control Plan according to the requirements of the customer. He/She shall ensure that required processes and documentations and surveillance points are identified in the QCP. He/She shall liase closely with the customer during development of the new QCP and revision of the existing QCP and its approval (internal and Customer).

7. Customer /Third Party Inspection coordinator

SQP shall manage Customer and Third Party inspection of products/parts. He/She shall ensure that each Quality Control Plan activity which requires surveillance points are monitored and conducted accordingly. He/She will liase and communicate closely with the internal and external customers to ensure that TPI inspections are executed according to the plan schedule.

8. Perform any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the superior.

The Senior Quality Engineer, PQE is responsible to ensure the quality of both medical and non-medical products through rigorous inspections, implementation of quality control measures, and identification of areas for improvement. Job Scope :

- Inspect outgoing parts and incoming sub-contracted parts according to established procedure / specification of inspection and carry out Incoming Process Inspection.

- Maintain quality record and file quality data.

- Highlight quality problems discovered to the QA Manager and Factory Manager / Production Manager / Asst. Production Manager for action.

- Ensure that all non-conforming products are not mixed with good products prior to disposition.

- Authorise the rejection of parts if found unsatisfactory.

- Authorise the release of conforming parts to be sent to the store for subsequent delivery to customers.

- Perform factory routine test and check of switchboards completed in the workshop.

- Testing and commissioning of switchboards on board vessels or on-site to the satisfaction of customers; and attend to warranty claims / quality complaints.

- Conduct official tests on the switchboards which require witnessing by surveyors or consultants and also maybe with the presence of customers.

- Assist the Manager in quality responsibilities and achieving quality objectives.

- Maintain good housekeeping in the QA Department.

- Observe and adhere to safety rules during the performance of every task.

- Ensure the use of calibrated instrument for inspection.

- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of Product Non-Conformity.

- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions to problem detected.

- Verify the implementation of solutions.

- Control further processing and delivery of Non-Conforming products until the deficiency has been corrected.

- Carry out other responsibilities as and when assigned by the superiors.

Requirements:

- Nitec / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

- 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience

- Experience with Switchboard / Panels an added advantage

- Able to travel for work occassionally

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Comfortable working at Tuas. Transport provided

- Able to start work immediate or short notice
