Overview:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance efforts in the field of thermal solutions for cloud data centers. This role is key to maintaining product excellence through effective quality control systems, fostering continuous improvement, and leading a collaborative team. If you have a strong passion for quality management and thrive in dynamic environments, this opportunity is for you.
The incumbent will be based in Hanoi for more than 6 months per year as part of the company's expansion plans and setting up of a manufacturing facility in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Yield Optimization:Establish advanced monitoring systems to maintain product quality and optimize yield.
Identify and execute strategies for improving overall product performance.
- Managing Quality Issues:Address and resolve abnormal quality issues within the manufacturing process.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement preventive measures.
- Process & Quality Improvement:Enhance internal quality control and improve process capabilities.
Apply best practices to streamline workflows and maximize efficiency.
- Customer-Focused Quality Management:Lead efforts to resolve customer-reported quality issues, providing detailed corrective action plans.
Share preventive recommendations with stakeholders to prevent recurrence.
- Inspection & Technological Advancements:Optimize quality inspection processes by integrating automation and advanced tools.
Drive efficiency improvements in inspection planning.
- Collaborative Communication:Foster effective communication and alignment across departments to support quality objectives.
Act as a bridge between teams to ensure cohesive quality management strategies.
- Team Leadership & Development:Manage team responsibilities, performance, and task assignments.
Implement training programs to enhance the team's expertise and skills.
- Project Supervision:Oversee timely delivery of tasks and ensure adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and above in a relevant field.
- Proven expertise in quality management, particularly in manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills with effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in quality management systems and standards.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma) are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and be based overseas at the manufacturing facilities (~6 months a year)
