We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Manager for our client in the logistics sector. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of contract negotiation, execution, and compliance for logistics-related agreements, ensuring that both legal and business requirements are met. The Contract Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, procurement, operations, and finance teams, as well as external clients and service providers. The incumbent must be able to work well under pressure and have a legal or procurement background with the willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the negotiation, drafting, and finalization of contracts related to logistics services, including transportation, warehousing, supply chain management, and third-party logistics (3PL) agreements.
• Analyze and review contracts to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify and mitigate potential legal risks, and provide recommendations for risk reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, legal, operations, and finance, to align contract terms with organizational goals. Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related queries.
• Oversee the entire contract lifecycle from negotiation through execution and performance monitoring. Ensure timely renewals and manage amendments, extensions, or terminations as required.
• Ensure that all contracts are in compliance with industry standards, company policies, and applicable laws. Monitor vendor and service provider performance, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and resolving issues as they arise.
• Handle any disputes or contract-related issues that may arise with clients, suppliers, or third-party vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions.
• Maintain accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and communications. Provide regular reports on contract performance, renewals, and any risks or issues to senior management
• Contribute to the development and improvement of contract management processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (A Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution is preferred.)
• 5+ years of experience in contract management, ideally within the logistics, supply chain, or transportation sector (background in procurement would be strongly preferred)
• Experience negotiating, drafting, and managing logistics-related contracts (e.g., transportation agreements, warehousing contracts, 3PL agreements).
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, terminology, and industry regulations (e.g., Incoterms, freight agreements).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in contract review and analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth running of operations on a day-to-day basis in a proactive manner.
• Support and assist all Front Office operations.

• Conduct pre-shift briefings with the front office team to relay all pertinent guest information and operational requirements. Review the daily event sheet and in-house groups, and participate in the daily lineup.
• Provide a consistent level of guest recognition and delivery of personalized services.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of room rates, room packages/promotions, room types, room availabilities, and occupancy levels.
• Assist with room reservation calls for modifications, bookings, and cancellations when needed.
• Check all billing instructions and guest credit for accuracy. Follow up and resolve related issues.
• Maintain appropriate standards of conduct, uniforms, hygiene, and appearance for the front office department.
• Address guests' complaints and requests in a polite and efficient manner. Give further instructions to the relevant colleagues if needed to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a record of all complaints, feedback, and requests. Follow up and inform concerned operating departments.
• Make decisions on upgrades, comps, and rebates as per stipulated hotel policies and procedures.
• Assist in department orientation and training of the hotel service standards, procedures, and programs.
• Inspect Front and Back of house areas for cleanliness, health & safety, and report any faults to the relevant departments.
• Promote in-house sales, facilities, and upselling programs to maximize revenue.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Must always be well-presented and well-groomed.
• Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus to converse with international guests.

• Strong skills in guest service, communication, organization, and problem-solving.
• Prior experience in Opera / Opera Cloud.
