JOB DESCRIPTION

• All ISO tank containers turn into depot, surveyors ensure to stick a yellow and red colour
• Sticker onto the Left-Hand Side of the corner post before off load.
• Surveyors must coordinate with the Leese/Lessor independent surveyor for joint inspection.
• As part of a Surveyors duties, ensure to conduct thorough inspection after the cleaning, repaired and testing completed.
• Surveyors must thoroughly inspect the Tank Containers and raised estimates after the cleaning completed.
• Surveyors must report to the supervisor on all documentation of ISO Tank containers before sending to customers
• Surveyors will conduct Pre/Post inspection, if require by Customers. (Before Repair and After Repaired)
• As a surveyors must obtain instruction from the Supervisor.
• Surveyors must inform the Side Lifter Drivers to shift the Tank Containers into the
• workshop area for repair when Customers given the approval to repair.
• Surveyors must hand over the approved estimates to the Repairer Supervisor afterthe tank containers shifted into the repair bay.
• Surveyors ensure the repairer repair items accordingly indicated on the estimates and repair standard complies to ITCO/ACC or Owner criteria.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate, review of tender drawings/documents for discrepancies, additional BOQ items/scope and incorporating within the tender offer, liaise with consultant regarding ambiguities contract work scope and seek clarifications there to

2. Liaise with vendor and sub-contractors for quotations (sourcing 3 quotation for start rated items)

3. Preparing bills of quantities by means of coordinating with all related parties (Design, Procurement and Finance), assist in costing, pricing and analysis of direct and indirect cost for the BOQ items.

4. Visit Site as and when required to take measurements and monitor progress.

5. Check and review the site requisitions and compare them with the approved Bill of Quantity (BOQ).

6. Analyze and recommend subcontract payments based on actual progress and valuing completed work and issuing payments requests to finance.

7. Submit and negotiate contract variations, additional works and maintenance orders.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building, Civil Engineering or equivalent

2. Minimum of 3 – 4 years working experience handling QS in Construction (relevant experience as Quantity Surveyor in M&E / ID)

3. Knowledge of building condition of contract

4. Knowledge in Material Costing

• Experienced in procurement, budgeting, estimation, contract administration, measurement of quantities & variation orders

• Compile photos, inspection forms and all relevant documents required for VOs attachment.

• Strong interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation

• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Superior.

Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Quantity Survey or equivalent.

• 05 years of relevant working experience (QS)

• Demonstrate proficiency and competency in a project QS function and can work independently.
