Duty :

1) Prepare quotation or tender

2) Liaise with client above quotation issues.

3) Prepare purchase order to materials once customer is confirmed order.

4) Prepare Delivery order to customer once the production goods is ready for despatch.

Job Description:

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison
• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
• All other QS related job as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Min Degree / Diploma in QS / Building / Engineering or its equivalent
• Min 3 years and above QS experience in main-contractor companies in Singapore.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
• Supporting VO, progress claim, contract administration and documentation for the project
• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Obtain sub-contractors and suppliers’ quotation for costing.
• Source for new vendors and perform cost comparisons.
• Evaluate and certify contracts.
• Prepare monthly progress claim and necessary cost analysis report.
• Monitor budget and keep track of projects expenditures.
• Prepare letter of award to sub-contractors.
• Identify and prepare variations and valuation for projects.
• Finalize project accounts with clients and vendors.
• Update and file material quantity and prices list for each project.
• Participate in tendering quantity taking off.
• Perform other adhoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• At least Diploma / Degree, preferably in Building / Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
• At least 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in Construction.
• Experience in project management or project coordination with A1 contractor is preferred.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Able to work independently and in teams with minimum supervision.
