This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quantity Surveyor in Tampines, with flexibility for remote work. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, BOQ, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting on a day-to-day basis.

• Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning skills
• BOQ and Cost Reporting skills
• Experience in quantity surveying and project cost management
• Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• QS consultancy work experience preferably in Singapore
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field

• Prepare tender documents, bill of quantities, quotations, variation orders, progress payment and claims.
• Attend site meeting, liaise with project team and project coordination.
• Relevant experience in mechanical and electrical construction industry.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.

Job Description

• Able to carry out Bunker Quantity & Quality Surveys onboard vessels and bunker tankers independently
• Prepare Bunker Quantity Survey reports
• Report any bunker discrepancies or violation (Quantity and Quality) and provide solution accordingly
• Bunker surveys are to be carried out under the MPA regulation, in accordance to the latest standards.
• Coordinate and liaise with Shipping Agents, Suppliers, and Clients for on-arrival surveys

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in any Marine related courses
• Candidate must possess bunker surveyor licence issued by MPA
• Relevant experience will have added advantage
• Fluent in English and Mother Tongue

Senior Quantity Surveyor | Up to $5k | A & A works tender | 5 Days | City Hall

• Working Days: 5 Day A Week (Monday – Friday), Saturday may need to work half day depends on project (Can claim OT)
• Working Hours: 8:30am -5:30pm
• Office at City Hall, Working location at Island wide
• $4000 to $5000

Requirements

• Min Degree / Diploma in QS or its equivalent
• Above 5 years with Experience in A & A works tender

• Basic QS job scope (e.g. Measurement and Calling Quotation) still applied if Internal staff resources are tight
