• Carry out quantity take-off and Prepare Bill of Quantities, familiarisation with Glodon software – Cubicost for use in Tender.
• Attend site visits, if necessary.
• Source for supplier and sub-contractor for quotation.
• Analyse and compare quotations.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and pricing.
• Assist Contracts Manager to ensure completeness of tender documents for submission and timely submission.
• Assist Contracts Manager to clarify and resolve Tender Questionnaires issued by Client/Consultants.
• To seek clarification and confirmation on Tender Questionnaires from supplier/sub-contractor.
• All other adhoc work assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree / Diploma or Certificate in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in Construction industry

• In-charge for tendering and site measurment
• Request quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers including negotiation with them
• Prepare sub-contractor contracts
• In-charge in contract requirements
• Prepare project billings and report monthly
• Prepare Variation Orders
• Preparing take off quantity
• Preparing material submission as well as other necessary documents

Job Responsibilities:

• Project administration and documentation including prepare monthly progress claim, submission claim for VO and final account for closure of account, etc.
• Taking-off quantities and preparation of bills of quantities.
• Monitor progress claim and resolve claim issues with clients.
• Assist in the tendering process to ensure costing are accurately included.
• Monitor the projects’ usage of material against the budgeted quantity.
• Attend to site surveys whenever necessary

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building Construction / Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experiences in similar capacity.
• AutoCAD knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience working in waterproofing subcontractor companies.
• Meticulous and good analytical ability.
• Work independently under minimal supervision.
