Primary duties:
1. Perform clinical duties in general radiography and at least 1 advanced imaging modality (CT/MRI), dual advanced modalities is preferred
2. Manage the efficient functioning of their specialized area, ensuring the equipment is used correctly and always maintained properly
3. Adhere to safe work practices especially in radiation safety and infection control
4. Conduct training and coaching of radiographers
5. Render prompt and courteous service delivery to external and internal customers
6. Handle difficult situations like patient’s complaints and queries within the department/section promptly and effectively
7. Ensure efficient patient turnaround time per examination
8. Plan, organise and prioritise assigned tasks such that all are completed effectively and on time
9. Motivate and counsel team members on personal and work-related issues. Build upon their strengths and help improve their weaknesses for desired results
10. Participate and contribute in quality assurance programmes
11. Review and update SOPs and protocols
12. Assists in authorities licencing and audit
Secondary Duties:
1. Maintain and upkeep a section with efficient work performance
2. Collate and prepare statistical data of the section
3. Ensure physical environment and ambience of workplace adheres to corporate standards
4. Assist in recruitment of radiographer
Requirements:
1. Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration
2. Recognised Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
3. 7 years specialised experience in CT/MRI
4. Exhibit strong leadership potential
5. Compassionate and good patient care
6. Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
7. Customer and service oriented
8. Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
