This role requires someone who can streamline procurement, negotiate favourable contracts, and build strong partnerships to support our mission of helping our clients leverage technology without deep in-house IT expertise.

Responsibilities:

Vendor and Partner Relations:

• Manage and cultivate relationships with key vendors and partners.
• Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers and technology partners.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with SLAs.

Procurement:

• Lead the end-to-end procurement processes and activities of sourcing, evaluation, contract management and purchase order issuance for hardware, software and services
• Ensure cost-effective procurement practices while maintaining product quality.
• Maintain the procurement process, workflows and policies, ensuring relevance to the business and alignment to the company’s objectives.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and track all purchases.

Cost and Budget Management:

• Analyse procurement data to find cost savings opportunities.
• Work with finance to manage procurement budgets and forecast spending.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure that procurement policies align with company and regulatory requirements.
• Mitigate procurement-related risks through robust risk management processes.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure procurement aligns with company goals.
• Work with the finance team on budgeting and procurement planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Certifications in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) preferred.
• Experiences 5+ years in procurement and partner management. Experience working in IT or managed services environments is a plus. Proven experience in vendor relationship management and contract negotiations.
• Familiarity with procurement and partnership processes. Understanding of IT products, services, and supply chains.
• Experience with managed services procurement (endpoint, cloud, infrastructure).

• Create and maintain documentation on technical designs, system configurations, and implementation details for internal use.

Requirements

You would need a min Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Min 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong coding and documentation practices, attention to code style, familiarity with design patterns and principles, and a focus on continuous project optimization.
• Proficiency in programming languages Java or Golang.
• Familiarity with common Internet technologies such as Linux systems, MySQL, RPC, MQ, caching technologies, and microservice architectures. Experience in API development and integration is essential.
• Strong understanding of business needs, with experience leading or contributing to large-scale software platform projects, particularly in process systems and middleware development.
• Experience with user growth (paid acquisition) systems is a plus.
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and frontend frameworks like React or Vue is a plus.
