About the role

This role contacts assigned / agreed customers or prospects to sell company Alcona Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) range of products and services within South East Asia. Focuses on meeting assigned sales budget, new business development, maintaining customer relationships and troubleshooting specific customer problems. Has solid knowledge of AMOS products and services across AMOS’ 4 pillars, characteristics and market(s), benefits, value and potential. Uses excellent interpersonal skills and sales experience to drive customer commitment and revenue growth at the right margin.

Main responsibilities

Sales Management

• Owning and achieving annual sales budgets within assigned product sector and/or accounts.
• Ensure adherence to global sales policies, processes, and guidelines.
• Secure buy-in from key customer stakeholders and maintain optimal relationships across account teams.
• To drive profitable sales growth for the allocated customers across all sectors of responsibility.
• Develop and deploy growth strategies in conjunction with Operations and (Key) Account Managers across the respective region.

Customer Engagement

• Drive growth of the allocated PPE product sector and/or accounts by ensuring appropriate collaboration across all functions.
• Identify and pursue new/existing customers via lead generation activities, including cold calls and planned visits.
• Strengthen customer relationships by engaging with key decision-makers and navigating customer hierarchies.
• Effectively navigates the customer’s hierarchical structure, establishing himself or herself as a trusted advisor at multiple levels.
• Focus on selling value-added solutions and managing customer contracting, compliance checks, and agreement renewals.
• Review sales pipeline, top-line revenue, and margin performance, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Review and manage customer credit and payment in close cooperation with AMOS’ Account Receivables team.

Sales Planning & Review

• Attend regular review meetings with Head Of Sales (HOS).
• Review account pipeline (including RFQ’s), activities and performance using Salesforce (CRM).
• Review new opportunities, new business, loss business and new competition on a regular basis and take corrective actions, where applicable.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly customer business reviews, ensuring well-prepared meetings with relevant stakeholders.
• Support HOS in ensuring minutes from Strategic Reviews are distributed to all relevant stakeholders and corrective actions are followed up.
• Escalate concerns or complaints to the HOS timely.

Opportunity Management

• Develop a personal network within the business sector and represent AMOS at events, obtaining market intelligence and enhancing visibility.
• Adhere to company processes and procedures and utilizes the Salesforce and other tools to document customer interaction, needs, and business projections.
• Use Salesforce for documenting customer interactions, needs, and business projections, ensuring effective customer retention and business development.

Collaboration and Transparency

• Collaborate cohesively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Secure compliance with AMOS’ sales governance

Requirements

• Min. 5 years experience in business development and managing sales
• Min. 3 years of work experience in PPE and/or Safety Equipment
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with Salesforce.com and SAP
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a 4-year university
• The ability to converse well in both English and Mandarin/Japanese/Korean (to liaise with the APAC-based clients) is preferred

• Manage the operational activities of the projects to be within budget so as to support the achievement of the sales and PBT target:

- Resources availability and reliability (eg; manpower, equipment, etc)

- Manpower capacity, competency and deployment

- Work productivity through effective management (eg; machine utilisation rate, time management, etc)

- Ensure compliance of SAC at sites

- Ensures that inspection activities are carried out according to standard methods

- Coach and guide staff on the job training

• Provide technical feedback and costing information to superiors and sales team for tendering and quotation process, which include:

- Evaluate/Decide the capacity and capability to undertake the project according to technical specifications and requirements (eg; site visit, study specifications, drawings and other requirements, etc)

- Highlight additional costing items where require for the tender or quotation

• Manage the project activities within the allocated budget and timeframe:

- Project task breakdown and schedules

- Resources and deployment

- Monitoring and tracking progress

- Review project reports

- Site visits and meetings

- Resolutions of complaint, issues and feedback.

• Review project progress/final claims for approval and invoicing
• Complete the project:

- Reinstatement work areas

- Project sign-off

Job Requirements:

• Formal education in Civil Engineering/Ground investigation and instruments installation
• Good knowledge of drilling operation
• Familiar with 5S and safety knowledge
• Knowledge in quotation and tender works
• Understanding of financial indicators
• Relevant safety certificate for project manager (compulsory)
• Registered Earthwork Supervisor (compulsory)

1. Duty & Responsibilities

• Implement and provide directions in project planning, coordinate works, liaise with sub con/supplier, ensures overall progresses based on schedules.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the drafting department with regards to the preparation/ submission/ approval of shop and as-built drawings.
• Liaise with client's representatives with regards to all site matters, attend site meeting if required.
• Update Project Status, prepare monthly progress claim for the project.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Performed Ad-hoc duties assigned.

2. Requirement

• Min. 5 years and above for Electrical & Network Telecommunication Project Management experience required.
• Bachelor/ Master Degree in Electrical/ Electrical Communication Engineering or relevant field.
• Proven experience in leading build projects from initiation to project closure
• PMP certification from PMI or equivalent is an advantage.

• Coordinate and direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget
• Evaluate the performance of mechanical engineering staff.
• Oversee the work involved in installing these systems.
• Perform inspections of the installation.
• Analyze problems relating to these mechanical systems.
