Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy for selling our HR software solutions
- Identify key target markets, including industries or sectors that would benefit most from our payroll, attendance, and HR systems.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing, managing leads, and converting them into long-term customers.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Research and identify potential leads via online platforms, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Initiate outbound sales efforts such as cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to generate qualified leads.
- Work on marketing, to leverage content, case studies, and other sales materials to attract potential clients.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Understand client needs and pain points regarding HR management, and present our software solutions as effective, tailored options.
- Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our HR system.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to ensure successful onboarding and continued customer satisfaction.
Sales Closing & Negotiation
- Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact through to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Collaborate with the CEO or founder on pricing strategies and contract terms.
- Provide quotes, proposals, and product recommendations tailored to each client’s requirements.
Customer Onboarding & Retention:
- Assist in the onboarding process to ensure clients are set up for success with the software, including implementation and training.
- Act as the main point of contact during the initial post-sale phase to resolve any issues and ensure smooth adoption of the system.
- Stay in touch with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, encourage renewals, and identify upsell opportunities.
Reporting & Feedback:
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and key metrics (e.g., number of demos, proposals, and closed deals).
- Provide regular updates to the CEO/founder on sales progress, challenges, and insights from client feedback.
- Help refine product offerings based on market feedback and customer needs.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Keep up to date on trends in the HR technology space, including new features, emerging competitors, and customer needs.
- Continuously assess competitive offerings and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software sales, preferably in HR software.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successfully closing deals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to demonstrate technical software solutions to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growing environment and wear multiple hats.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and HR operations.
- Familiarity with sales strategies in early-stage companies.
- Experienced in selling HR software (payroll, attendance, benefits, employee management systems) an added advantage.
