Job Description:

You will be part of the management team setting the direction for parent partnership, community engagement and talent management. Your experience, knowledge and expertise will be highly valued in the implementation of centre programs, initiatives, and events.

Job Responsibilities:

· Our Centre Principals play a vital role in providing effective leadership and ensuring centre viability. Being the cornerstone of the centres, you will lead a team to inspire and nurture children and their communities.

· You will also provide mentorship to this team of professional teachers and enable them to fulfill their aspirations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or Degree in any discipline, with Diploma in Pre-school Education-Leadership (DPL)
• At least 2 years of relevant supervisory experience in a childcare setting including infant care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership qualities with passion in equipping and inspiring young lives
• Strong knowledge in curriculum and pedagogy
• Experience in leading and managing the team in SPARK Accreditation process as well as licensing.
• Experience in managing a centre with multiple bays and/or with a capacity of at least 150 children with Infant Care has an added advantage.

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic applicant who firmly believes in the importance of music as a fundamental aspect of 21st-century education for all children. The ideal candidate will be committed to expanding their knowledge of research-based music teaching and learning practices and will have a genuine passion for teaching music to young children. This role requires a dedication to fostering a love of music and supporting the musical development of students.

Job Responsibilities:

• The role involves teaching a music curriculum to preschool students across all levels, from PG to K2 (2 – 6 years old).
• Teachers will deliver a well-rounded music literacy program that includes instruction in singing, percussion, keyboards, recorder, and violin (for the upper grades).
• You will be responsible for planning, supervising, and implementing the program for your class in alignment with the center's policies, guidelines, frameworks, and philosophy.
• It's important to address each child’s educational and developmental needs while maintaining accurate records of their progress through checklists, notes, photographs, and anecdotal records.
• Additional ad-hoc duties may be required based on operational needs.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Professional Certification in Music (ABRSM in Piano, Music Theory, Music)
• Demonstrate musical competency in at least 2 instruments (E.g. Piano, Violin, Ukelele, Guitar, etc)
• Solfege (do-re-mi syllables), Suzuki Violin, Keyboard knowledge will be a plus point.
• Creative and inspiring with loving energy
• Prior experience in classroom teaching.
• Experience teaching music to children.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
