Our Client is a Singapore based company in Hospitality industry with global presence. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Duty Manager to be part of their Customer Service team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located Islandwide - easily accessible.

Duties:

• Responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the hotel.
• Overseeing key areas within the Front Office such as reception, cashiering, telephone services, reservations, and baggage handling. Supervise junior staff, ensuring they maintain professionalism and contribute to a positive corporate image for guests.
• Ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service for all guests, addressing any complaints with tact and diplomacy. Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes.
• Handle security-related duties by directing guests to the Security department for incidents, thefts, or offences, and manage issues involving guest misconduct or unauthorized individuals in coordination with security personnel.
• Maintain a cash float aligned with occupancy levels, authorize rate and room changes, handle paid-outs, cash advances, and cheque acceptance following hotel procedures and credit policies.
• Closely monitor room inventory to ensure optimal room usage, maximizing revenue opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Hotel Management or relevant discipline
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• At least 4 years of experience in the hospitality industry

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting the Senior Project Manager in managing project engineering of ACMV systems including planning and defining project scope, goals and deliverables
• Developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources allocation
• Work together with Senior Project Manager to ensure project progress meet project submission, project schedule including coordinating activities and resolving problems
• Managing the work activities and performance of the subcontractors, supervisors and workers and liaise with clients, relevant authorities and consultants to resolve bottlenecks
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Communicating project status updates to stakeholders, including clients, management and team member
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
• Prepare and update all site reports, monitor and report progress of project
• Conduct safety compliance and risk assessment

Job Requirements

• Min. 8 years of experience in ACMV works
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in Software with strong understanding of Drawings
• Fluent in ACMV knowledge and installation – CHWP, VRV, VRF systems
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
• Familiarity with ACMV engineering principles, industry standards and regulations
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Oversee that the review of all relevant submissions are in line with the project schedule.
• Oversee and ensure that Change Management as it relates to budget, revised design and potential schedule impact is carried out in line with MBS procedures.
• Assist the Design team with design management, design coordination and design delivery to meet the project schedule.
• Work and liaise with the Design team on project matters, and also initiate value engineering initiatives to ensure that the project develops within the recognized cost and time constraints.
• Regularly inspect the progress of the work on site and provide guidance to the project and construction management teams on best practices and potential efficiencies on scheduling and processes.
• Oversee and support the Construction Management Team to ensure the adequate and timely flow of information, designs, technical data and feedback, to meet the stringent construction schedule requirements on the project.
• Plan and Implement Procedure and Quality Checks for assigned projects.
• Assisting the Director of Project Management as directed in any other Project Management related activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelore Degree
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience with private large-scale construction.
