Job Summary

This is the most senior finance role for a specific geography or business within Survitec. It manages and coordinates the designated financial function, including general accounting, cost management, budgeting and payroll, in accordance with corporate policies and procedures to meet Survitec’s business requirements and objectives

Duties and responsibilities

· Communicates the finance strategy and its relationship to Survitec’s mission, vision and values. Clarifies the actions needed to implement it within the area of responsibility. Motivates people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve Survitec’s business goals

· Leads and coordinates the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines and protocols within the region, anticipating complex issues, challenges and opportunities, and ensuring integration with wider business and functional strategy

· Leads the provision of specialist support within the region, ensuring effective decision making, financial management and reporting

· Undertakes and commissions strategic and tactical financial analysis, modelling and evaluation to support business leaders in their decision making

· Evaluates the capabilities of staff within the department to identify gaps and prioritise development activities. Implements Survitec formal development frameworks within the local finance team, coaching and mentoring others to support the development of the overall talent pool

Job Requirements:

· More than 15 years of relevant experience with 5 years’ experience at similar position. Experience in Marine industry is a plus.

· Candidates with MBA in Finance and Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• To review and support the APAC region’s strategic business plans for the group of products (Brands, BGX, Gx and OTx) and to support APAC region’s sales and share growth for the group of products with a focus on current as well as the product portfolio of new launches.

Key Responsibilities::

• Develop and implement QA strategies, test plans, and metrics to ensure software quality and team performance.
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with the QA team for task delegation and high performance.
• Oversee testing phases, prioritize scenarios, and ensure comprehensive coverage across platforms.
• Identify, document, track, and resolve defects while collaborating on process improvements.
• Drive automation adoption, improve efficiency through scripting, and maintain testing tools/environments.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, security, accessibility, and regulatory requirements, promoting a quality culture.

Key Requirement:

• 5+ years in software quality assurance, including 2+ years in a lead role.
• Expertise in web app architectures, SDLC, testing methodologies, and Agile/Scrum.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, JIRA, Postman, and similar tools.
• Proficient in Test Automation frameworks like pCloudy, Katalon Studio, and others.
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and cloud testing environments.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python or JavaScript.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and cloud technologies (Amazon Cloud, EKS).
• Experience with testing frameworks for Svelte-based web apps (e.g., Playwright, Vitest).
• Hands-on experience with mobile testing frameworks for Flutter (e.g., Flutter Driver, Appium).
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.

Job Responsibilities

Project Delivery:

• You will partner with client sponsors/ leadership to shape the change vision and translate it into a change management strategy and are responsible for these change deliverables – change plan, change impact assessment, leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement and communications strategy, learning strategy, behavior change strategy, change effectiveness survey, business benefits realization, adoption and embedment strategy.
• Define the skills, structures, tools and support mechanisms required to deliver the change initiatives; this includes being able to identify the learning interventions to skill clients’ target audience (internal staff, or external users) to operate in the new technologies adopted, or new ways of working. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the team and ensure team’s deliverables are completed on schedule, to a high level of quality and to client satisfaction.
• Manage team’s delivery risks and issues, drive innovation and sharing of best practices within the team. Drive change management integration with other impacted projects or process areas. Engage in collaborative and constructive dialogue with client sponsors/ leadership to evaluate progress against project objectives. Develop deep and trusting working relationships with client sponsors/ leadership.
• Define metrics and measure business adoption and business benefits realization. Ensure key messages are communicated accurately and timely using innovative channels, to capture the hearts and minds of stakeholders. Measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Business Development:

• You will partner with client sponsors/ leadership to shape potential areas of work where we can add value to our clients to solve their most pressing challenges. This includes understanding of client needs in terms of future of work, talent strategies, operating model, leadership and culture, and change management solutions that they may require.
• Lead the development of client proposals that fulfils the clients’ needs; this may either be a pure talent-related proposal or be a part of a larger system implementation proposal. The ability to work with a much larger technical team is required.

Job Requirement

• Minimum of 10 years of change management and/or human capital consulting experience. Internal HR consulting or HR-related experiences would also be considered.
• Experience in other related areas such as Talent Management, Learning & Skilling, Operating Model & Organization Effectiveness (e.g. Organization Design, Culture Transformation, Leadership Effectiveness etc) is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Comfortable working with digital solutions in an information systems/technology-driven environment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create and deliver high-impact communications to senior audiences (written and oral) and facilitate complex discussions.
• Strong executive level relationship building skills.

Job Scope:

Creative and skilled Communications and Design Lead for a period of 7 months from Jan to Jul 2025. This role will be responsible for designing and managing our visual communications, social media presence, and event publicity, focusing on the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF).

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design

• Create visually appealing event collaterals using our SYF graphics and brand guidelines
• Design promotional materials for various SYF platforms (Arts Presentation, Art Exhibition, Celebrations), including print and digital media

1. Social Media Management
   • Manage and maintain the social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)
   • Create engaging content and implement social media strategies to increase audience engagement
   • Monitor social media trends and adapt our approach accordingly
2. Publicity and Communications
   • Develop and execute communication plans for the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) and other events for our internal and external stakeholders
   • Write and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, and website updates
3. General Communications Support
   • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns
   • Collaborate with other teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms

Requirements:

• Diploma in Communications, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and Canva to create high-quality visual content
• Strong digital visual design skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in social media management and content creation
• Able to work well independently and in teams
