Our Recommendation Architecture Team is responsible for building up and optimizing the architecture for our recommendation system to provide the most stable and best experience for our TikTok users. Due to the big system scale and large engineering community that covers multiple Recommendation products, we invest heavily in the developer infra area, from developer environments and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) to frameworks, libraries, and various productivity tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Advanced Risk Frameworks: Work with asset management, treasury, and finance teams to design innovative risk strategies.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a quantitative discipline.
• Experience: At least 5 years in analytical or investment-focused roles, ideally in quantitative risk management (credit, market, or liquidity).
• Expertise: Knowledge in real estate research, project financing, corporate finance, or property valuation is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel modeling (VBA/Python preferred) and familiarity with financial models like CAPM and VaR.
• Certifications: FRM, PRM, or CFA certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the AI Lab’s global sandbox platform.
• Ensure the platform is effectively used for experimenting with AI applications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform based on user feedback and technological advancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into the sandbox environment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to teams using the sandbox for AI product development.
• Conduct research and development (R&D) to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, Large Language Model frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance and support in the AI domain to teams under incubation that develop AI products.
• Analyse and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Skills Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in developing and deploying AI models and algorithms.
• Strong technical background in data, AI, and modern cloud infrastructure.
• Good programming skills in languages such as Python, R.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., LLM frameworks, Computer Vision, NLP frameworks, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, MLOPs, LLMOps techniques
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
