Support the Head of Pricing in the pricing of life insurance products.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

• Develop actuarial pricing model for new or repriced products.
• Perform pricing financial assessment and sensitivity testing to support the Team in launching competitive products whilst ensuring compliance to internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
• Identify pricing risks and support Team Lead in developing solutions for alignment at the PMC.
• Collaborate with wider business (including product development, IT, risk & compliance, etc) to ensure timely end-to-end product development and implementation with good audit trail.
• Prepare internal (FWD local entities and FWD Group) and external product filing.
• Work closely with Appointed Actuary in proposing assumptions for new products and justifications.
• Pro-actively drive initiatives/projects to enhance overall pricing process efficiency and governance/controls.
• Support discussion and negotiation on reinsurance, together with Product team
• Assist in special quotations.
• Guide/lead junior pricing actuaries to ensure quality and timely deliverable.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Qualified actuary from a recognized professional actuarial body is preferred.
• Min 6 - 8 years of actuarial experience, with individual life product pricing experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

• Strong knowledge on (i) Singapore RBC2 or similar regulatory framework, (ii) embedded value and (iii) IFRS17 would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Life insurance products in the Singapore market would be an advantage.
• Proficient in Prophet.

Roles & Responsibilities

• With Class 3 Driving Licence – to drive Volunteers for meetings and errands
• Assist in Temple's and Memorial Hall's daily operations
• Support events organized by the Temple (Vesak, Qing Ming & Ullambana Festival)

Jobs Description:

• Assist superior in handling and managing a portfolio of clients in providing corporate secretarial agent services
• Handling client acceptance and compliance checks such as CDD
• Assist in conversion of XBRL
• Assist in company incorporation, registration of branches, representative offices, striking-off of companies and other ongoing corporate secretarial matters
• Assist in preparing directors' and shareholders’ minutes of meetings and resolutions for specific transaction
• Filing of returns and statutory information using ACRA Bizfile
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
• Assist in timely billing and collection
• Handle ad-hoc assignments as requested by the superior from time to time.

Requirement:

• A diploma or degree in Business Administration, ICSA, LLB, or other relevant qualifications.
• At least 1 year of experience in handling corporate secretarial work with any corporate service provider is desirable.
• The ideal candidate should be able to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle clients professionally. He/She must be a team player with a positive work attitude, capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment. • Job Responsibilities
  
  • Help manage the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Rooms & Suites.
  • Conducts daily briefings and attend meetings
  • Help provide management and supervision to the Housekeeping Rooms & Suites Team Members on all shifts
  • Check VIP rooms prior to check in and in-house
  • Ensure that the requirements of VIP arrivals and in-house guests are managed well
  • Ensures turndown services are done in accordance to Marina Bay Sands standard
  • Handles all complaints and guest surveys pertaining to housekeeping service
  • Ensure that Housekeeping leaderships are kept fully aware of all feedback from either guests or other department
  • Conducts regular inspections of rooms ensuring standards of cleanliness is always maintained.
  • Ensure that the turnaround of the “House Status” is timely
  • Be proactive in safety and accident prevention. Ensure that all Team Members are adequately trained in the use of housekeeping cleaning and sanitizing chemicals as well as lifting techniques and other potentially hazardous parts of their daily work
  • Ensure a clean, safe and pleasing environment for all Guests and Team Members
  • Help manage operating costs, especially labour, productivity and operating supply consumption
  • Help develop and implement clear, detailed training programs which match the needs of Team Members with a wide range of skills, languages and cultures
  • Supervise, train, schedule, mentor, develop and evaluate Team Members
  • Ensure all tasks are performed on time and according to safety standards
  • Help monitor consumption and wastage of : equipment; guest supplies: cleaning supplies: and linen supplies
  • Help ensure that linen and operating supplies are available in sufficient quantities, while minimizing the value of stock on hand
  • Recommend the timely replacement of guest room and suite supplies and equipment
  • Participate in research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes in anticipation of changing customer needs
  • Maintain close liaison with all other Departments so that their Housekeeping operational needs are met by the Department
  • Help manage periodic cleaning programs
  • Conducts bi-annual and annual Performance Appraisals providing honest and appropriate feedback
  • Ensures that team members are always fairly treated without favour or unfair expectations
  • Ensures that team members are fairly and professionally rostered and are allocated work assignments which are appropriate for their rank and capability to meet the demands expected

  Education & Certification
  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred
  
  Experience
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role in a five star hotel housekeeping or related environment
  
  Other Prerequisites
  • Ability to successfully operate large-scale, high pressure environment with sudden change in business levels
  • Knowledge in multi-cultural service protocols and standard
  • Experience in hotel pre-opening/renovation at supervisory/managerial levels
  • Able to communicate effectively with both English and Mandarin-speaking guests
