Store Assistant duties and responsibilities

Our company is seeking an enthusiastic Store Assistant to work in our store. Duties include helping our customers identify and purchase items, restocking the retail space, and creating appealing merchandize displays. The ideal candidate will have a desire to provide excellent customer service and increase sales. Store Assistants ensure that retail operations are carried out effectively and efficiently for maximum customer satisfaction. Their day-to-day duties include:

• Assists in achieving store recruiting goals

• Run Cash Register

• Drive the achievement of the store’s sale targets while also meeting individual sales goals

• Assist in maximizing the business potential of the store and maximizing sales by department in line with company strategy

• Monitor proper use and ensure the quality of data in the sales staff’s client books, working with sales staff to propose action plans

• Facilitate staff trainings and new hire inductions, ensuring the proper follow up steps are taken

• Deliver exceptional service to all clientele by upholding brand service values and standards while managing customer relationships in a timely, professional manner

• Identifies performance issues and policy violations according to company policy and partners with the Store Manager

• Keeping the store fully stocked

• Maintaining the highest level of visual merchandising and store conditions

• Delivering exceptional sales services for improved customer satisfaction

• Interacting with customers and identifying their needs and preferences

• Operating cash registers and point-of-sale machines

• Receiving and verifying the quality and quantity of new shipments

• Enforcing in-store security and health and safety procedures and regulations

• Perform any other duties assigned by the director.

Store Assistant duties and requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

• Proven retail sales experience.

• The ability to stand for extended periods.

• The ability to use labeling and pricing equipment as well as Point of Sale (POS) software.

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous specialty retail management experience, preferably in the outdoor industry

Job Scope:

• Patient Interaction: Greeting patients, managing reception duties, and scheduling appointments.
• Administrative Tasks: Handling patient registration, billing, insurance claims, and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Assisting Doctors: Preparing examination rooms, assisting during consultations and minor medical procedures, and ensuring necessary supplies are available.
• Basic Medical Procedures: Taking vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature), collecting patient specimens for testing, and performing basic laboratory tests.
• Patient Education: Providing patients with basic information and instructions regarding procedures or follow-up care.
• Communication: Facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers, and coordinating with other administrative staff.
• Organization and Efficiency: Contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinic by organizing medical records and ensuring the clinic environment is clean and safe.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly at appropriate temperatures
• Handling multiple food orders at one time
• Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed
• Help to prepare food before the arrival of the guests for special arrangement/ reservation
• Operates various kitchen appliances such as blender, oven, grill or stand mixer
• Cleans food preparation areas and maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen
• Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
• Utensils to be sanitized at the end of the shift
• Cleans up after business hours

Qualifications & Requirements

• Food Hygiene Certification
• At least 6 months work experience

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

• To assist the Project Engineer for the execution of contracts progress.
• To co-ordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of work schedule.
• To monitor and carry out quality check on progressive completed work and make recommendation for effective project management.
• To assist in the preparation, checking and submission of shop drawings.
• To assist Project Engineer on all other project administrative matters.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferable with minimum 2 years of working experience in M&E or construction industry.
• Possess relevant safety certificates is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight project schedules.
• Willing to travel & based at the project site.
