Account Assistant (Full-time & Part-time)
Job Description
General Ledger Management:
Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger.
Record daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Process staff claims efficiently.
Ensure adherence to established accounting processes and policies.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Accounts Payable:
Manage Accounts Payable entries.
Verify that all inventory suppliers' invoices are accompanied by PO, acknowledged
DO, and GRN.
Enter inventory suppliers' invoices into QuickBooks Online (QBO), generating and
verifying corresponding accounting entries.
Ensure non-inventory suppliers' invoices are supported by relevant documents and
proper approvals (e.g., without PO).
Maintain an organized filing system for all supplier invoices and supporting
documents.
Prepare payments to both local and overseas suppliers.
Reconcile Accounts Payable ledgers for accuracy.
Ensure an efficient system for filing documents and correspondences.
Review and reconcile monthly supplier statements.
Accounts Receivable:
Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.
Reconcile Accounts Receivable ledgers.
Implement an organized system for filing related documents and correspondences.
Update weekly customer aging reports by Salesman and by Company.
Generate and print Accounts Receivable aging reports.
Email Statements of Account (SOA) to customers at month-end.
Requirements:
Only for Singaporeans.
Experience in accounting, good knowledge Excel skills and Word.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
