The Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW) aims to build a global research platform for transdisciplinary endeavours to address major health concerns over a woman's lifespan and across generations. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bioinformatic analyses on bulk, single-cell, and multi-omics sequencing datasets from diverse sources (e.g., patients, in vivo, in vitro).
• Identify novel biomarkers, key regulators, mechanisms, or pathways using datasets such as whole genome sequencing and RNA-seq.

Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is recruiting a Research Fellow specialising in the field of digital health and health education in Professor Jennifer Cleland’s group. LKCMedicine is a joint medical school between Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Imperial College London.

As a Research Fellow, you will play a pivotal role bringing expertise in digital health and health education, working closely under the guidance of Professor Cleland. The role involves providing crucial support to Professor Cleland, who leads the World Health Organization Collaborating Center (WHOCC) for Digital Health and Health Education. The role will involve conducting evidence synthesis using various methods (quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods) for systematic reviews. The applicant will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of systematic reviewers to evaluate evidence on digital health and health education topics. Professor John Chambers is the Toh Kian Chui Professor of Cardiovascular Epidemiology and Programme Director of the Population and Global Health Research Programme at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), Nanyang Technological University. He is also the Chief Scientific Officer for the National Precision Medicine Programme. His research programme aims to identify the molecular mechanisms underlying diabetes and premature cardiovascular disease in Asian populations, and to translate these findings into new approaches for improved prevention and early detection of these major chronic diseases.

His research team is hiring a Research Assistant to provide research support to his research programme to develop stratified approaches for health promotion and therapeutic intervention, in particularly for type 2 diabetes (T2D) and cardiovascular disease (CVD).
