Multi-omic analysis of secreted factors from various datasets was carried out, including human, mouse and primate plasma and metabolic tissues to identify novel primate-specific secreted factors critically involved in the regulation of physiology balance. Integrative data analysis and in silico rank scoring revealed a list of promising secreted factor candidates. We will be using model organisms (e.g. mice, zebrafish) to conduct phenotypic screens and prioritize candidates for detailed validation, characterization, mode-of-action studies and therapeutic strategies.

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on data analytics and machine learning in biological contexts. Minimally 5 years of postdoc experience or equivalent in industry settings.
• Demonstrated experience in multi-omics data analysis (eg. genetics/genomics, bulk and single-cell transcriptomics, proteomics, etc.) and the application of machine learning in biological research.

Job Description:

Be part of an exciting team working on cutting-edge advanced packaging process technologies. Participate in process development and integration solution to enable advanced packaging process technologies in the world of mobile, IoT, consumer and high-performance computing area. Partner and work with various teams from inside and outside of IME to help develop leading-edge packaging solutions for our customers, taking the solutions from concept to mass production. Responsibilities will include assisting in operations support in clean room to make sure projects are completed successfully and delivered on time.

Responsibilities:

• Operate semiconductor equipment to perform processes, measurement, and inspection of wafers. (Include equipment setup, loading and unloading of wafers)
• Monitor basic equipment/process errors and perform recovery.
• Work with internal and external parties to align for tool time, execute process sequence and collect data to feedback to integration owner.
• Logistically transport wafer lots between equipment within cleanroom and between worksites.
• Identify and address potential areas for improvements such as cycle time, utilization, and cost.
• Perform chemical change/ top-up for equipment under supervision.
• Understand and follow all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures and requirements.
• The candidate may be required to perform shift work (Mon-Fri).

Experience:

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative MEMS Device Designer/Scientist to join our cutting-edge research and development team @Lab-in-Fab, IME. The successful candidate will design, develop, and optimize MEMS piezoelectric MEMS devices including ultrasound transducers, micro speakers, and sensors and actuators for various applications, e.g. biomedical imaging, air-coupled ranging and sensing, non-destructive testing, and microfluidics. The role involves close collaboration with industry partners, process engineers, and application engineers, to push the boundaries of PiezoMEMS technology. This position requires the ability to bridge R&D innovation with production scalability to create impactful, high-performance products.

Device Design:

• Design PMUTs (Piezoelectric Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers), micro speakers, piezoelectric actuators.
• Perform device modeling and simulation (experience for COMSOL is preferred). Optimize device performance based on application-specific requirements, including resonance frequency, bandwidth, sensitivity, and power consumption.
• Collaborate with ASIC designers for MEMS-CMOS co-development. Integrate MEMS ultrasound devices into systems for applications such as imaging, gesture recognition, ranging, and microfluidics.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless device functionality in end-use systems.

Process Platform Development:

• Drive the development of advanced process platform to establish leadership in piezoelectric MEMS technology. Collaborate closely with process teams to innovate and optimize MEMS structures
• Develop and execute testing protocols for MEMS acoustic devices, including acoustic, mechanical, and electrical characterization.
• Analyze experimental data to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.

Research and Innovation:

• Stay up to date with advancements in MEMS technology, ultrasound systems, and piezoelectric materials.

Qualifications

Education:

• Ph.D., Master or bachelor degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related field.

Experience:

• Preferred candidates with at least 5 years of experience in MEMS device design and development, as well as a proven track record in product development and commercialization within the MEMS industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in piezoelectric transducer design
• Hands-on experience with MEMS fabrication processes and characterization tools.

Skills:

• Proficiency in simulation tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics, ANSYS, or equivalent.
