Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Fellow will design and execute experiments in M. tuberculosis infection of mice, processing of samples, and associated readouts including flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology including immunofluorescence. 1. Patient Care Management- To support Clinic Doctors to

• Assess and take comprehensive history of patients under her charge.
• Perform physical examination of patients under his/her charge.

JOB DESCRIPTION – VETERINARY NURSE

· Responsible for ensuring the safe and effective administration of anaesthesia and monitoring of animals undergoing surgical or diagnostic procedures e.g. MRI imaging. The role involves working closely with veterinarians and other veterinary nurses to provide high standards of care for animal patients.

▪ Perform general anaesthesia for companion animals including exotics species inclusive but not limited to birds, rabbits etc.

o Assess animals pre-operatively, including reviewing medical history and evaluating health status for anaesthesia suitability.

o Prepare and calculate accurate doses of anaesthetic drugs as per the veterinarian’s instructions.

o Perform nursing duties such as placing catheters, preparing patients for general anaesthesia.

o Clean and perform regular maintenance checks of anaesthetic equipment and report any malfunctions or need for repairs.
