Job Summary

· Provide clinical nursing and administrative services in the respective unit/s.

· Assist NM / SSN / SN and SEN in coordinating teamwork with members from nursing as well as other departments so as to maintain service quality in SANH.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Help render patient care in accordance to the policies and standards set by SANH.

· Help uphold teamwork in clinical nursing and administrative services in the respective unit/s.

· Assist SSN/SN in the serving of oral medication after certified to be competent in the administrative of medication.

· Carry out nursing procedures, e.g. dressing and naso-gastric feeding as directed by SSN/SN.

· Assist SSN/SN in orientation ol Nursing Aide (NA), Healthcare Assistant (HCA), and Healthcare Attendant on recruitment.

· Assist SSN/SN in the clinical guidance for NA/HCA/HA and participate actively in in service programme.

· Assist in report writing on patients’ condition and progress, and o nursing management of patients.

· Assist SSN/SN in inventory checks and control.

· Be familiar with fire and safety, and code blue procedures of SANH.

· Maintain good housekeeping.

· Be adept at lifting and transferring dependents.

· Keep in confidence any information related to the residents and SANH policies.

· Take on any other responsibilities delegated by the Nursing Administration in line with the needs of SANH.

Training

· Keep abreast with current practice and knowledge by attending in service education and external training.

Qualifications Requirement

• National ITE Certificate in Nursing or its equivalent recognized by Singapore Nursing Board
• At least 2 years’ experience as Enrolled Nurse

Programme Office

• Assist Programme Director to craft and adjust the overall strategy of programme.
• Assist Programme Director in the overall management of programme and various administrative and reporting matters.
• Plan, organize and facilitate steering board, leadership team, technical governance team, horizontal theme and workstream meetings.
• Plan, organize and facilitate various workshops to support the strategic positioning of current and future BioPIPS phases.
• Reach out and engage research community and extended members (current and potential) to expand the capabilities that BioPIPS can access to.
• Oversight of programme office in its strategic and administrative and operational functions.
• Design and launch grant calls.
• Manage and organize proposal reviews and seek approval for awards.
• Oversee and seek A*STAR's approval for all variation requests pertaining to:

(i) Scope, KPIs and milestones of the Programme; and

(ii) Budgetary implications, such as transfer or commitments of funds and extension of the Programme beyond the original timeframe.

• Account to A*STAR through the stated reporting requirements, and as required by A*STAR.

Coordination of Workstreams

• Moderate, facilitate and schedule discussions with project stakeholders, including Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the project team.
• Provide the overall oversight of projects and management of resources including budget.
• Ensure that all project management processes are adhered to by the project teams executing the projects.
• Ensure that project objectives are met, milestones are tracked and outcomes are delivered, and spending is within budget.
• Ensure that grant sub-awardees comply to the A*STAR Grants Terms and Conditions and guidelines.
• Refine and continuously improve existing project management SOPs and workflows.
• Engage and manage stakeholders from the industry, research community and A*STAR to resolve administrative project issues.
• Responsible for developing the commercialisation processes and workflows.

Management of Grant Calls

• Organise technical workshops with industry stakeholders to formulate problem statements for grant calls.
• Work with the stakeholders, industry representatives and research performers to analyse workshop output to form industry-relevant problem statements.
• Ensure end-to-end execution of processes (i.e., submission to award to project management/closure): liaise with research/technology themes for grant call review; launch grant calls and manage the review and awarding process.
• Facilitator for ART, TGT and workstream meetings.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/Master in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years' working experience, preferably in public sector agency, industry R&D and/or in a science-based business role. A background in programme and project management, business development, and grant administration would be an advantage.
• Have a broad vision of science and technology, able to handle diverse technical topics beyond one's direct field of education and experience, with excellent awareness of emerging technologies and global trends.
