SingHealth Experimental Medicine Centre runs several core facilities for translational research in SingHealth as well as the National Large Animal Research Facility. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will be responsible in supporting the implementation of policies and initiatives for animal husbandry and care.

You will be involved in the maintenance of animal inventory, equipment and facilities to ensure full compliance with National Advisory Committee for Laboratory Animal Research (NACLAR) guidelines, Animal and Veterinary Services (AVS) requirements and American Association for Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) international standards. You will be responsible for ensuring provision for veterinary husbandry and care as well as help in running the animal housing and breeding facilities.

You will also assist with administering appropriate treatments and medications to animals when necessary. In addition, you will help to prepare and set up training activities.

Requirements

• Animal Science/Husbandry or Veterinary Technology Diploma with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience or
• Candidates with a Diploma in any discipline with minimum 6 years of relevant experience or GCE A / O / N Level with minimum 8 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply
• Ability to handle small and large animal work and perform shift duties, including weekends and public holidays
• Highly motivated with leadership and strong interpersonal skills

NUS Centre for Additive Manufacturing (AM.NUS) is inviting applications for the position of research associate for polymeric biomaterials.

As a research associate in AM.NUS, you will be working on projects on the following areas:

• Synthesize new polymeric biomaterials for advanced bioinks.
• Undertake internal capability development projects and collaborative projects with researchers and industrial partners.
• Produce scientific research papers and grant proposals, and present in seminars, workshops, and conferences.
• Explore collaborations with researchers and industrial partners.
• Assist laboratory safety and procurement whenever necessary.

The NUS Centre for Additive Manufacturing (AM.NUS) leverages the National University of Singapore (NUS)’s world-class faculties, expertise and advanced capabilities in 3D printing technology, to bring innovative products to the field of healthcare that will improve patient outcomes and change lives for the better. AM.NUS will explore a whole new dimension in medicine, applying ground-breaking 3D printing technology for personalized patient treatments.
AM.NUS is the only multi-disciplinary Additive Manufacturing (AM) center in an Institute of Higher Learning in Singapore which comprises the following Faculties (Medicine, Science, Dentistry and Design & Engineering).
