Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be performing the following duties, but not limited to:

• Manage patient admission/transfer/discharge procedures.
• Perform perioperative assessment of the patient for surgery / Endoscopy procedure.
• Receive immediate post-procedure patient in recovery, assess status, and provide appropriate care.
• Vital signs monitoring (Temp, HR, RR, SPO2).
• Demonstrates proper airway management techniques.
• Recognises signs and symptoms of patient’s condition that indicate potential post-procedure or anesthesia-related complications and reports to anaesthesiologist immediately.

Qualification / Work Experience Requirements:

• Diploma in Nursing, at least 2 years of Ambulatory surgery or acute hospital recovery setting.
• Competent in monitoring patients with sedation.
• Experience in monitoring patients and care of patients in recovery.
• Knowledge in serving oral medication and IM injection as ordered.
• Knowledge in the use of infusion pumps as needed.
• Competent in giving patients post-op instructions and discharge instructions as indicated.

We have vacancy for a full-time Dental Surgery Assistant / Dental Nurse to assist dental surgeons in the delivery of clinical care to patients. Job scope includes preparation of dental units / surgical units, instrument sterilisation, maintaining material inventory and minor dental laboratory procedures. Experience in oral surgery or orthodontics will be an advantage; otherwise, on-the-job training will be provided. Weekday office hours and Saturday mornings.
