Purpose of the post

To assist investigators in conducting a large-scale lifestyle intervention study according to study protocol, Singapore Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (SGGCP) and other applicable regulatory and ethical requirements as well as institutional policies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Research patient/Subjects Management

1. Gate keeping of the recruitment progress. Assist investigators in the screening and recruitment of potential patients/healthy volunteers as according to trial protocol.
2. Assist investigators in obtaining informed consent
3. Maintain and update screening log & enrolment logs
4. Schedule appointments for patients/subjects
5. Perform delegated procedures as required according to trial/study protocol
6. Ensure patients’/subjects’ compliance to trial medication / intervention
7. Label and dispatch specimens to the relevant laboratory as per condition specified in the trial protocol

Research Patient/Subjects Management

1. Label and store specimens in the condition as specified in the trial protocol

Clinical Trial Administration

1. Plan, organise and co-ordinate routine trial study activities workflow (i.e setting up recruitment strategies and material & etc)
2. Provide effective updates to the stakeholder on the work done
3. Liaise with the relevant departments for logistic and finances related matters
4. Document and tabulate financial payments received and / or made to support the study
5. Up keeping study materials including procurement and inventory tracking.
6. Maintain Investigator Site File, tracking logs and ensure that all study documents are complete and up to date
7. Attend trial-related initiation, close-up and other trial related meetings

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist the nursing team in providing personalized and cost-effective care.
• Monitor and report patient conditions to senior nurses.
• Help with discharge planning and post-discharge care coordination.
• Educate patients and caregivers on self-care management.
• Conduct and document nursing assessments.
• Develop individual care plans based on patient needs.
• Provide necessary nursing services (e.g., feeding tube, catheter, dressing changes).
• Ensure safety and infection control during home visits.
• Collect payments from clients and submit to the Finance department.
• Conduct initial assessments for additional services (e.g., financial assistance, mobility fund).
• Mentor and supervise new and junior nurses.
• Perform safety checks on home care equipment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as directed by senior staff.
• Help handle complaints and assist in service recovery.

Financial:

Handle all transactions and payments accurately, ensuring proper records are kept.
