The RO position is to support the research work of the team that focuses on studying the role of immune system in eczema and allergies. ANGEL is looking for a motivated Research Scientist to review the literature, define problem statements, formulate optimization problems, develop advanced AI algorithms, and implement solutions and tests for LAE optimal flight routing, improve battery usage, manage global and local air traffic, and conduct simulations of the proposed algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

• To survey the literature related to Low Altitude Economy (LAE) and energy consumption models
• To define problem statements to reduce energy consumption in LAE with multiple UAVs
• To formulate optimization problems and develop AI algorithms to reduce energy consumption, increase safety and reliability, and meet all LAE user demands
• To test and fine-tune the algorithms to achieve the best performance

Postdoctoral Scientist position

A postdoctoral scientist position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Leslie Beh at IMCB.

The Beh lab seeks to develop cutting-edge CRISPR-Cas technologies to uncover the biological functions of RNA modifications. Dysregulation of these modifications has been linked to cancer, neurological disorders, and metabolic disease. We will determine the mechanisms by which RNA modifications and CRISPR-Cas systems operate by drawing upon diverse techniques, including protein engineering, biochemical reconstitution, genomics, and cell-based experiments. The Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Research Associate to support the Air Pollution and Health team's research, led by Prof. Steve Yim. The research focuses on the interactions between climate and air quality, and the resultant impacts on public health and ecosystem.

The position will be required to develop and apply modeling techniques to simulate the spatial distribution of air pollutants in a city at a high spatial resolution, and work on data collection, data processing, model development and application, and data analyses.
