Job Description

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates practices of nursing staff, doctors and all healthcare workers
• Conducts teaching for nursing, paramedical and medical staffs and students
• Conducts and evaluates audits
• Reviews and develops policies and procedures in consultation with nurse managers, doctors and Committee
• Carries out investigations, conducts follow-ups during outbreaks
• Plans, implements and evaluates in service talks and training courses / activities
• Ensures patient care delivery
• Prepares and update reports and other related statistics required
• Participates / leads in quality improvement / research projects
• Mentors newly appointed Nurse Clinicians
• Updates and implements hospital infection control policy in consultation with Chairman and the Infection Prevention Committee
• Conducts orientation programs for nursing staff and students
• Other duties assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Nursing from recognized training institution as approved by Singapore Nursing Board
• Able to work independently
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
