Procedural Support: Work closely with doctor and other staff nurses in the clinic. Coordinating of healthscreening tests, minor procedures, administering of medications, blood-taking, taking vital signs, dressing, monitoring patient's overall well-being and comfort.

Patient Education: Educate patients about their conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques. Provide instructions on proper medication administration, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures to promote patient understanding and compliance.

Counter Duties: Managing patient records, updating medical charts, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the clinic operates smoothly. They may also assist with inventory management, ordering medical supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.

We are a boutique nursing home looking for a compassionate staff nurse who has a passion for caring for the elderly.

You will be working closely with the Nurse/ Care Manager to provide safe, cost effective and quality nursing care to patients in accordance to established hospital policies and procedures, standards of nursing care, professional competencies and practices to achieve the desired patient outcomes. He/she should practice within enhanced levels of clinical competence and decision-making skills whilst being imbued with clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills that promotes safety of patient and the team members. The successful candidate will work with Dr Brandon I Morinaka on production and biological evaluation of peptide natural products under a project on Bioactive cyclic peptides.

The objective of the project is to create new peptide modalities that can be used for infectious disease and cancer.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Carry out research for new peptide natural products discovery and development including recombinant protein expression, and production and extraction of natural products.
• Train undergraduate and graduate students.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Discipline:

Skills:
