- Developing theoretical methods to predict and characterize nonequilibrium quantum many-body phenomena in synthetic quantum matter (cold atoms, Rydberg atoms, trapped ions,etc.), utilizing the lens of quantum information theory (e.g., entanglement, tensor networks). Specific topics include deep thermalization, measurement-induced randomness, measurement-induced entanglement phases, dynamical/driven phases of matter, quantum many-body scars etc.

- Developing quantum information science applications like quantum simulation of complex many-body phenomena, and quantum state preparation and tomography protocols, specifically tailored for current and near-term quantum technologies etc. Analytical calculations and numerical methods will be employed to ascertain the validity and performance of the proposed applications.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provides professional customer support on call enquiries and walk-ins to promote our products
• Schedules services/ repairs for technicians on a daily basis.
• Ensures collection of service charges, monitors unpaid service billings and follow-up payments from customer
• Update records of services rendered to customer with aid of customer service system; prepares Quality Claims Report (QCR)
• Monitors the parts and products under QCR until replacement part is received
• Follow up with QA on any quality related issues during services.
• Safekeeping of Customer Service Department's files and records
• Up keeping of Showroom to ensure tidiness and cosy ambience at all times
• Recommend customer on products range, fees of service charges and company promotion offers.
• Maintained high service standards and achieving set KPI

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess Min NiTEC, HiTEC or Diploma holder in any field or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in customer service call center preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with good computer skills
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications

The Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at the National University of Singapore is currently seeking a dedicated Research Assistant/Associate in Field Epidemiology to join a multidisciplinary team. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in innovative research projects in Singapore and Southeast Asia across a range of topics, including spatial epidemiology, infectious disease modelling, ecology, entomology and machine learning. This position will contribute to field epidemiology research projects on the impacts of environmental change on vector-borne and zoonotic disease risks. Key responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct field epidemiological studies on vector and wildlife distribution across land use gradients in Singapore and Southeast Asia;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of researchers, including epidemiologists, entomologists, wildlife ecologists and public health experts at universities and government agencies;
• Contribute to design and analysis of field and infectious disease modelling studies in collaboration with project partners;
• Document research output including cleaning, analysis and interpretation of data, development of standard operating procedures and drafting progress reports;
• Present research findings at national and international conferences and publish results in peer-reviewed scientific journals;
• Contribute to grant proposals and reports for funding agencies.

A senior post-doctoral position with more than 3 years post Ph.D experience in Biomedical research. Candidate should ideally have cancer biology background with expertise in mitochondrial biology and cellular apoptosis. A suitable and successful candidate will be given the responsibility to design and conduct experiments with specific abilities in cell death and apoptosis using various quantitative and functional assays. The candidate should be available to commence as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in functional genomics/precision oncology approaches to work on resistant models of lung cancers to identify mechanism(s) of resistance in resistant models of lung cancers.
• Experience with the development of functional assays for phenotypic screening, involving the use of high-throughput flow cytometry, high-content drug screening, and large scale data analysis.
• Willingness to pick up mentorship position for Ph.D students and junior members.
• Previous experience with handling and analysing human clinical samples will be preferred.
• A Ph.D in cancer biology (>3 years)
• Strong track record of research achievement supported by high-quality publications in relevant field (BCL-2 and cell death biology).
